What a wonderful morning we had at Valley View Falconry with Tim bringing out a variety of birds for us all to handle. Tim's warm welcome and knowledge and enthusiasm for all the birds made our visit truly memorable. He was disappointed that the current Welsh laws on avian flu meant he was unable to fly the birds, but it really didn't affect our enjoyment of the whole experience, and I felt we spent more time with the birds 'up close and personal'. We also enjoyed tea/coffee and biscuits.

Beautiful place in rural Wales, stayed here in one of the Shepherd’s huts. Really stunning scenery, beautiful birds, and Tim is an excellent kind host and also super knowledgeable about everything.
Whether staying or just visiting for the birds I’d highly recommend it.

Had a fantastic morning with Tim and various birds of prey this morning.
Knowledgable, friendly, brilliant.
There were 5 of us and we all had time to hold 3 owls / 3 hawks and a falcon. Then we had a tour of the rest of the birds & the hospital. It will stay long in our memories !

We have just returned from a fantastic time at Valley View Falconry with Tim. We were shown seven birds including owls, hawks and falcons. The meet & greet experience was brilliant as it was just us and we were all able to hold and have plenty of photos, whilst learning about the birds. Tim is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate and we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon. We will definitely be back in the future when the birds are flying!

We visited here in June 2021 and were gutted we didn’t get the time to go back. We called on the day and they were very accommodating. We took our 1 year old and he loved all of the animals especially the peacocks and the pigs!
The animals are so well looked after, it is a pleasure to visit.
The owners were a delight and nothing was too much for them. Despite working they were happy to take time out to talk to us and their love for their animals was evident.
In addition to seeing the animals, they have a tearoom and you can also stay in their beautiful gypsy caravans on site.
Just a tip - watch out for the geese!

What a fantastic way to enjoy close encounters with a range of stunning birds of prey. Tim is a great host, so knowledgeable and welcoming. The wildlife rescue and rehabilitation work that Kat and Tim also do is truly remarkable. Thanks for a great day.

Highly recommended A great place to get away and unwind. We had the most wonderful two night stay here in a cosy shepherds hut and were made most welcome by Tim, Kat and Raven. The hut is sited in the heart of their small holding amongst a variety of animals (chickens, peacocks, ponies, goats, pigs, alpacas as well as the hawks, owls and falcons) meaning there was never a dull moment which was heaven for my seven year old daughter! The location is stunning and makes a perfect base for exploring mid Wales. We ended the stay with a falconry meet and greet which is a must. A great opportunity to get close to the birds and learn more about these amazing creatures.

We visited on the last day of a stay in mid-Wales and contacted Valley View to see if they could accommodate a visit. They were incredibly friendly, passionate about their animals and spent time talking to my family and I about all of the wonderful birds.

We visited Valley View this morning on our way home after a week at one of the lodges down the road. Tim, Kathleen and daughter Raven were wonderful hosts. The two ten year olds with us are such animal lovers and they thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this lovely place. Due to the current situation with Covid 19, we were unable to fly any of the birds but Tim, Kathleen and Raven took a lot of time
out of their very busy schedule to talk about the history of each of the animals and birds. We were especially impressed with Gino and Jeffrey the two very clever pigs! We wish we had come along to see you earlier in the week as our girls would have loved to come again. Please believe me when I say, you won’t believe your eyes when the door to this quirky, fun and unbelievably kind treasure trove opens. All the animals that you rescue and provide a wonderful home for, you really are lovely lovely people. We really hope we make it back next year and see some of the amazing plans you have in fruition. Thank you for taking so much time with us, we have left Wales on a high! Keep up the amazing work and best of luck with everything.

We had an amazing time doing the falconry experience, Tim is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the birds which made the experience that much more special. All the birds were beautiful but meeting Matilda the snowy owl was my personal favourite. There are other animals on site witch we were happy to see and seeing the pigs party trick was a real treat. We will definitely be returning to do the other experiences on offer.
