We did the South Snowdonia three day itinerary (staying in B&Bs) and we had a really brilliant weekend. The bikes (and the rest of the equipment) were really high spec and immaculately maintained. Joe was highly responsive and a pleasure to communicate with from beginning to end. The trip itself surpassed all our expectations. The magnitude of the views and the sense of remoteness were unrivalled by anything else we’ve experienced in many years exploring Wales’ great outdoors. It was worth every penny we paid and we couldn’t recommend Roam more.

We had a great ride- despite the rain! Amazing scenary. Some challenging, steep hills on a wonderful route. Joe organised everything perfectly. We felt there was nothing he hadn’t thought of and we really appreciated this. We would definitely book again and explore more of Wales.

We had a brilliant time with Roam! The trip was really well organised from start to finish, the kit was great and the route was everything it was promised to be. So tired when we got home but really want to do it again.

Everything about this trip was fantastic, but the main thing was how organised it was and how great the equipment was. Every last detail was planned by Joe meticulously. The route we did (Cambrian mountains) was so varied. We switched from Snowdonia halfway through the booking (we got scared we wouldn't be fit enough!) ..and this route didn't disappoint. The epic Elan valley, lush forested estate with secluded swim spot, remote forest tracks and bucolic farmland all featured. Camping was idyllic and when you manage to pack the tent etc back onto the bike you feel like you're winning at life!
When my gears started playing up on the last day Joe was on hand to come and fix them so I could get going up and down the hills again. I definitely wanted to carry on for a few more days and will be back next year for another trip. I can very highly recommend Roam Bikepacking!

Great route plotted by Joe that surprised me by finding a way of avoiding the traffic that blights most roads in the UK. B+B option was a good choice as nothing to carry but you clothes and no issue of finding food and drink enroute.

Great bikes, great route and excellent organisation. Weather good for cycling. Swims were refreshing.

We were riding in a pair, 10/11 Sept. Weather perfect. From the initial contact; the booking, information, communication and preparation, was excellent, the right amount of well presented detail. We arrived to be greeted by Joe with bikes that are very comfortable and perfectly suited for the ride, fitted with well thought out high functioning kit and some nice touches, everything is consistently better than you’d expect. We did the Cadair Idris, the route itself was varied and stunning, offering a good amount of climbing and enough rough stuff to make it challenging and exciting, views of course are superb and you probably won’t see anyone else. The accommodation was excellent and on return Joe greeted us with the same attention to customer comfort. Outstanding … we will definitely do more rides with Roam. Effortless way to turn up and ride great bikes on great routes.

Joe handled everything precisely with all the little extras, - his attention to detail really made us feel looked after. The bikes are in immaculate condition and he supplied all the best kits so you are fully prepared for the ride ahead. I hadn't any issues apart from my cleat and puddle shenanigan which I was thankfully saved by having a good setup.
I would highly recommend.

What an amazing 2 days we had! Stunning scenery on a lovely route from Abergavenny to Hay on Wye and back.
Joe was a pleasure to meet and his organisation of the whole trip from start to finish was excellent.
The bikes and all the equipment are all of high quality.
Words don’t do justice of how good this trip was, don’t hesitate in booking one of his routes 10/10 thanks Joe.

The 3 day route through the Cambrian Mountains was absolutely beautiful! Green rolling hills and talkative sheep (and a bit of drizzle) gave us the true Welsh experience. The B&Bs were very comfortable and their owners extremely accommodating to our cycling needs. Joe was organized and thorough with his planning and recommendations. We had all the gear we needed and felt very prepared. Overall, highly recommended this experience!!!!
