We have returned once again to this lovely friendly campsite for the fourth time and stayed for 19 days, it's a well laid out site the numerous sanitary blocks are kept spotless and cleaned a number of times each day, shop on site provides essentials including bread croissants etc. A walk out of the gates and across the road sees you looking at the sea and a beach before a bit difficulties to get onto however a 10 minute walk takes you to a long sandy and safe beach. Plenty of restaurants to choose from to each in and wonderful fish shop selling prawns mussels crabs etc. staff in reception are fantastic so willing to help they seem to speak many languages too. Would we recommend the site most definitely we have made a provisional booking to return same time next year and meet up with friends who like us turn up each year

So to sum up 4 star campsite without bar without pool without snacking how did they do to have 4 stars only sleeping was okay

A beautiful place, especially on days of high tides or storms. The well is impressive, the rocks and squares are superb.

Charakteristische Angelhütten, die hier überall zu finden sind. Sehr fotogen. Prägen die Küste in dieser Gegend.

Pour éviter les déceptions, et pour information, le chemin des douaniers est actuellement fermé entre la maison des douanes et la plage du Platin. Il est possible de le parcourir sur 400m avec de magnifiques points de vue mais il faut ensuite faire demi-tour.

We rented the Isis static home for the first time this year, having visited the site on two previous occasions with our own caravan. We were not disappointed. Everything was spotlessly clean and the accommodation had everything we needed, including a dishwasher and washing machine. The king size bed was extremely large (larger than our own king size at home) and very very comfortable.
The site was immaculately kept and very quiet and peaceful, only the birdsong and frogs calling. We love it here and would definitely recommend it.
Straight on to the cycle paths immediately outside the site, where you can go either way, to Royan and beyond, or La Palmyre/Les Mathes.
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Avec ses carrelets, ce puits mérite une petite visite. C'était à marée basse et avec une mer très calme. Dans d'autres circonstances, cela peut être mieux.

Bonjour Sandrine,
Vous pouvez être accompagnée de votre chien sur le site, mais attention car les rochers sont escarpés et sans réelle forme et cela peut - être dangereux pour un animal pas trop " dégourdi ".
En plus, il sera nettement préférable de tenir l'animal en laisse car s'il cours sur les rochers il peut déséquilibrer une personne pas trop à l'aise en équilibre sur ces dits rochers.
Bon séjour dans cette belle région de Charentes Maritime.
