We unfortunately arrived late to check in due to delays in trains, we were greeted very rudely by the hosts because we had interrupted their dinner, they looked at each other and sighed then asked us to wait in our car until they have finished their meal.
Our next rude interaction occurred when we needed assistance with the washing facilities as their were no instructions. My partner felt the host was very patronising and was made to feel like he was stupid.
The over all experience of the campsite was poor, we were situated on a plot which was on a hill and the beach area of the campsite resembled a swamp compared to photos online.
If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to check out other neighbouring campsites as the location was the only selling point of ramsau beach in our opinion.

Der kleine Moorsee war mit 21 Grad erfrischend, aber super angenehm und sauber. Baden in dieser Bergkulisse ist einfach der Hammer! Die Wiese ist groß genug für genügend Abstand. Unsere Kinder haben sich auch am Spielplatz vergnügt. Leider gibt es nur ein Trampolin, das ist definitiv zu wenig...

Wir waren ein paar Nächte dort zum Zelten. Die Lage des Platzes ist klasse. Man hat direkten Blick auf den Dachstein, schöne Sanitäranlagen und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.
Durch die wenigen Plätze ist auf dem Platz recht wenig los, was ein großer Vorteil ist.
Sehr nettes Personal.
Die Pizza ist sehr lecker. Auch der Eintritt zum See ist inklusive was prima ist.
Einziger kleiner Nachteil: man bekommt hier keine Dachstein Sommercard, was ein wenig schade war.
Ansonsten waren wir rund um zufrieden!

Wir waren mit drei Kindern an einem sehr heißen Tag da und der Badetümpel (See wäre übertrieben) bot eine herrliche Abkühlung bei traumhaften Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge, allerdings bei gepfefferten Preisen (18 € für Familie für 1h Abkühlung bei Null Corona-Abstand auf der kleinen überfüllten Liegewiese). Anschließend waren wir zusammen im Klettergarten und mussten für einen Erwachsenen mit 2 Kindern MEHR bezahlen, als für zwei Erwachsene mit einem Kind. Abzocke an jeder Ecke, wenn man wie wir eine Unterkunft ohne die Sommercard gebucht hatte (was einem vorher keiner sagt). Allerdings war der Guide im Garten dann wieder sehr nett und hat die Kinder den FlyingFox kostenlos fahren lassen. Der Klettergarten ist hervorragend gemacht, anstrengend für alle Schwierigkeitsgrade und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Anschließend durften wir dann noch bei Dreharbeiten für die "Bergretter" zusehen, alles in allem ein gelungener Tag.

Wir hatten eine super heiße Woche, da tat eine Erfrischung sehr gut. Baden und dabei das Panorame des Dachsteinmassives bewundern kann man nur hier. Das Wasser hatte angenehme 23 / 24 Grad...

Die Pizza war sensationell gut! Ein sehr guter und dünner Pizzaboden mit Tomatensoße und qualitativ guten Zutaten darauf. Wir kommen sicher wieder im nächsten Ramsau-Urlaub :)

great experience. lake with grass all around, convenient facilities and wardrobe . There are many activities for children. Refreshing fun

We stayed for two nights in our Motorhome with our three kids (aged 9, 5 and 2) in August 2019. Small site but amazing! Colossal Dachstein on one side; Ramsau Beach lake on the other. Site has electric, showers, waste and water disposal; nothing lacking. Camping gives you free access to Ramsau Beach (so the swimming lake, kids playground, Inflatable ‘wet’ football pitch). Restaurant serves great food, good variety. A minute’s walk to the chair lift up to Rittisberg where there is another great restaurant, massive kids play area, plenty of hiking and cycling trails, and more. The Rittisberg mountain coaster is next to the chair lift (ground) entrance: a must! There is also a ‘go-ape’ type place with zip wires, fly line and tree top trails. About 15 minute drive to Dachstein Glacier cable car. A Spar and a Billa supermarket about five minute drive (no shop on site, but you can order fresh bread daily). Staff friendly and helpful (and speak great English too!!) A fabulous site all round!

Inmitten traumhafter Bergkulisse findet man einen Kleinod aus erfrischenden See, Beachvolleyballplatz, Fussballslidingplatz und grüner Liegewiese. Ein gemütliches Restaurant versorgt ausreichenden Speisenangebot und Getränken. Und mit der Sommercard hat man sogar kostenlosen Eintritt. Absolute Empfehlung !!

Wir waren 9 Tage mit unserem Wohnwagen da. was soll ich sagen? Es war einfach nur toll. Der schöne Badesee erfrischte uns nach einer langen Wanderung ebenso wie das Eis vom Kiosk. Als wir einmal zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Pommes und Calemari fritti to go holten, wurden diese uns frei Haus zum Wohnwagen geliefert. Die Pizzen die von 18:00 - 22:00 wahlweise im Restaurant oder zum mitnehmen zu haben sind, sind spizenklasse.
