Tambo Ilusión es un lugar maravilloso que recomiendo visitar, es ideal para dejar las preocupaciones a un lado y disfrutar de la naturaleza. Es una experiencia única de aprendizaje y reconexión con uno mismo.
Las sesiones de yoga y reiki fueron estupendas, súper relajantes, y junto al baño de florecimiento hacen que uno quede como nuevo.
Las clases de cocina vegana y la comida son un tema aparte: deliciosas, satisfactorias, variadas y saludables, para muchos podría significar un cambio de estilo de vida.
Además de lo hermoso de lugar, el cariño y el tiempo dedicado por Johanne y Armando en cada actividad hicieron que nuestra estadía en la selva peruana sea superior. Ambos tienen un gran conocimiento y amor por lo que hacen. Estamos felices que haber visitado Tambo Ilusión y esperamos volver pronto. Lo recomiendo 1000%!!!

Increíble lugar. La atención de Armando y la calidez de Johanne son de primera, así como la de todo el personal de apoyo. Es definitivamente el lugar perfecto para un escape de desintoxicación justo y necesario. Lo más increíble es la calma del lugar, los mil y un sonidos y la laguna maravillosa- que parece un oasis. La comida vegetariana superó mis expectativas. Definitivamente es el lugar perfecto para desconectar y recargar energías.

Tambo Ilusión es el lugar perfecto para conectar tu interior con la naturaleza. La ubicación es perfecta, el servicio es muy bueno y las instalaciones son cómodas.

La atención personalizada en el retiro de yoga que recibí de parte de Johanne y Armando fue increíble, 2 sesiones diarias de yoga, meditación, introducción a la comida vegetariana, sesión de reiki, caminata por el bosque que es reserva natural privada, la laguna y el
Baño de flores, experiencias inigualables. Debo admitir que los tambos son súper cómodos, espacio para relajarse y escuchar la naturaleza.
El lugar perfecto para una primera experiencia con la naturaleza!!!
Lo recomiendo, yo volveré el siguiente año sin falta!!

This was quite possibly the best travel experience I have had and that is saying something. The remote location and beauty of Tambo is beyond compare and that almost pales in comparison to the beauty of Johanne and her hospitality and kindness. I had been trained in Reiki online through the Covid crisis but came to Tambo to learn hands on from Johanne and honestly it took forever to write this review because trying to put words to this experience has been a challenge. I was called to this place. If you are open in your mind, soul, and heart, Tambo is the place that will change your life and Johanne is the spirit that will guide yours. And as if her knowledge of Reiki, Yoga, and Spiritual openness was not enough, you will not believe the quality of the food. I had no idea I could be so full and enjoy vegan food on this level. I had tried plant based diets and failed but with her recipes I am well on my way to a much cleaner system and life. Last but not least I have to mention the little touches. You won't be able to miss them - mandalas and coloring supplies, incense in your room, wake up beverage, all the little things add up to one giant heart. You will not regret this experience.

Surrounded by nature, personal attention by the owner, the perfect place to be disconnected of the world, you can do yoga and trekking guide by the owner, monkeys and lots of birds

Un lugar para escapar del estrés de las ciudades. Solo se escucha el sonido de la naturaleza... Insectos, aves y monos que te acompañan durante tu estancia.

Es una área de conservación privada, acondicionada para el turismo vivencial y saludable, los dueños son personas muy comprometidas con el medio ambiente, altamente recomendable.

I visited Tambo Ilusion with my boyfriend Jorge on November 1st 2018 and stayed for 4 days and 5 nights. We absolutely loved staying here and would recommend it for people that truly appreciate nature and want to have a unique experience. Armando an Johanne are amazing individuals who truly care for society and humanity =). This spot is a MUST for adventurers and nature lovers!!
Pros: The service is excellent! The owner, Armando, is always available for any questions or special requirements. The cabins are very clean, the beds are comfortable, the cabin has a wonderful hammock, the food (only vegetarian!) is delicious, and the bathrooms are very well equipped and tidy. There is a natural lake for swimming and a path for exploring the conservation area (Armando usually takes you on a 1 hour walking tour of the forest and gardens). The scenery is beautiful and you feel like you are in the middle of the jungle in spite of being only 15 minutes away from the city. There are many relaxing activities such as Yoga, Reiki, Massages, Cooking classes, Detox programs, etc. which are led by Armando's wife, Johanne.
Cons: Tambo Ilusion is NOT a place for everybody. It is a place for people that love to be surrounded by nature and are looking to get away from the city noise and technology. It is dark at night and to walk from the cabin to the bathrooms or dining room, you must have a flashlight. No Wifi, no electricity in the cabins (you can charge your phone in the dining room), no air conditioning or fans, cabins do not have private bathrooms, no bottled drinks (soda, energy drinks, etc), and no meat (all meals are vegetarian).
Helpful tips: Bring a head flashlight, pants and long sleeve shirts (mosquitoes can be brutal), comfortable walking or hiking shoes, bathing suit, sandals, hat, sun screen, repellent, water bottle, sunglasses, a good book, and small treats if you have a sweet tooth like mine.
What we did: We selected the 4d/3n Viva la Conservacion program. On our first two days we explored the waterfalls of Carpishuyacu and Ahuashiyacu and the Blue Lake of Sauce. Armando kindly arranged these two tours for us which were additional to our program. On our third day we went for a hike to the river with Armando (about 4 hours, included in the program) where we met a local farmer, swam in the river and had a beer in a small town. On our fourth day we walked through the forest of Tambo Ilusion and the gardens with Armando.
This spot is a must for adventure seekers and nature lovers from all over the world! We definitely recommend staying in this beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle =).

We are happy to offer our guests a tech cleanse, a digital detox while they are here. It is so beneficial to disconnect from those and connect with nature. We witness the benefits in all of our guests who leave here rested, rejuvenated and inspired!
There is something romantic about candle light and sleeping under a mosquito net. Plus, listening to the sounds of nature as one falls asleep is so magical. This is what we want to share with our guests. Time slows down at Tambo Ilusión!

Hermosa reserva ecológica para hospedarse en Tarapoto. Cuenta con una laguna exclusiva con agua de vertiente. En el lugar se puede practicar yoga, cabalgatas, caminatas, se ofrece comida vegetariana/vegana, cesiones de reiki, procesos detox.
