‪20 pesos environmental fee.
10 minutes walk to the falls.
Clear & cold water from Mount Banahaw.
Great place to relax. You can also grill some food. Just make sure to keep the surrounding clean.‬

‪Once arriving and parking, a quick walk along a fairly well maintained track/stairway found us enter into a new, cooler world. Leaving the concrete jungle for an oasis, or a step back in time to unspoilt jungle. The flat area you could use as a 'picnic' area is clean and as we went durring the week there was only one other group. We enjoyed eating lunch sitting on the rocks. Taytay was not suffering from overcrowding this day. We had the pool all to ourselves.
What a beautiful place, the view alone is worth the short walk (15 minutes at most... if your super unfit). The swim is super refreshing, and kept the heat off for a couple of hours after leaving, even after the climb of the stairway.‬

‪When staying at the Patio Rizal hotel Lucban as a base this is a short trip to

Taytay Falls in the Lovely Mountain Air .

A Family of 7 adults ,we had a day trip and you hire a Tent near the waterfalls to Rest

and Change clothes after Your freezing mountain waterfalls swim.

Plenty of Parking area on the grass near the outdoors Restaurant and shower rooms.

A Short walk down a narrow path with handrails to visit the Taytay falls.

Plenty of small Tents for Hire ,Erected handy to Swimming hole below the

Powerfull Clean Cold Water falls . . You are looking for any Sunshine for Warmth.

The Mounain Water is So Clean that it is transported through a large pipe from a

Small Weir on top of the Falls to supply the Local Village and Showers near the

car park Restaurant . Also to the toilets and Past the side of the Tents , Primitive

Toilets .But Always Flushed . wear Rubber boots or Avoid .

The Taytay waterfalls are still Naturally Beautiful and Unspoilt . But Crowded at Times.

Best to stay Local and You be early before any Crowd.

You can buy Food up near car park and Enjoy eating down near the River .

Or even Cook near Your Hire Tent , Day Trip or Stay Longer , Lots of young people

Do. Stay Overnight in Groups ,Plenty of Hire Tents Already erected and Cheap.

You need to be Young or Fit to Hike to Falls .

Overall an Excellent day with Very Stimulating chilled Waterfalls ,Mountain Air and

sunshine and Food , relaxing too. We Visited these Taytay Waterfalls before 2017.

I am now 75 years old and will return here to Enjoy the Stimulation .‬

‪Went here on Black Saturday, a holiday and within peak season. We got here early at 10am in the hopes of lesser people. It’s about 3 hours’ drive from Metro Manila (we passed through the Geothermal area in Sto Tomas Batangas to skip the heavy traffic in Calamba, Laguna). Traffic was light. To the drivers, brace yourselves as the road to Taytay falls is quite narrow (very tight for two way traffic).
There were ample signages to get to the falls. Upon entrance to the parking we were asked to pay P20 per person. I asked for a PWD discount and was told there was none (which is weird - there is no official receipt for the entrance tickets as well), which was quite disappointing.
The parking was already quite full and throngs of people already beat us to the place (yikes!). We were asked to pay P50 for the parking - again no official receipt was ever given.
There were changing rooms and toilets at the parking lot and could be cleaner and improved (example with flushes, working door locks) given the entrance fees they ask for from the hundreds of visitors.
Prior to going down to the hike to the falls we had to surrender our tickets (makes me wonder why?!).
Hike to the falls is about ten minutes. It was quite fun and we could see the falls and the clear waters which was exciting. The water was cold and clean - we had a good time swimming. Even when there were hundreds of people the place was quite huge and there was enough space for us to swim and walk around.
What is frustrating is there are bits of trash around from some irresponsible tourists. Maybe upon entrance the staff can remind everyone to dispose of trash properly. I really hope the cleanliness of the place can be maintained.
When we left there was no clear sign that the road was a one way road so imagine our difficulty making a uturn through the narrow road.
Overall the falls was beautiful but the management and efficiency of staff could be improved.‬

‪Taytay falls is 10-15 meters high waterfalls is located along the Dalitiwan River in Brgy. Taytay, Majayjay, Laguna. It has clear and cool water that falls in 1,000 sq. m. river channel area. Its surrounding is vegetated with various wild plants and trees. A natural Falls with irrigation on its 2km. pathway and cliff on the right portion. Cold spring water flows freely from Mt. Banahaw. The site, which is about 8.0 kms. Away from the Majayjay town proper, could be reached via motor vehicles and through hiking about a few hundred meters by way of a nature trail.

It was summer when our Family friend invited my family to join them to go to a falls. It was my first time to go to a Falls . That's why I'm so happy to join. From Lucena City We ride a 2 Jeep and it is rented that's why we all in there . Then 2-3 hours I think then we arrive at the parking lot of the taytay falls. Then after that we hike about Hundred meters even if it is far , it is fun to walk and smell the fresh air and see a various wild plants and Trees . I am enjoying the view and walking . When we are near we see a hanging bridge it is best to cross the Hanging bridge and take some picture . Then from the hanging bridge you can hear the sound of the water because you are near . And we walk a little and saw the Majestic Falls , I was amaze by the falls I feel happy and excited to go near the falls . There has rented tables that can rented and there has Big rock formations that you can put your things . The water in the Fall was so cold and clean & clear . This was the Best Falls so far that i Visited and I am looking forward to go to other Falls in the Philippines . And Some tips you should do not forget to bring your camera , And before I forgot the Entrance fee is so cheap , Its only 30.00 pesos but i don't know how much will you Cost for the Fare. That's all . Have a Nice trip . "IT'S MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES"‬

‪These water falls are included in our one day tour packages, they are only a short one day ride from Manila and provide ice cold water from the mountains and a good camping location if you'd prefer to stay overnight. Sleeping to the sound of the massive falls is quite relaxing and enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting this place if you have time.‬
