This is one of the most places that you must try in Iligan, It was a great experience I've ever done. The views are quite inspiring.

You shouldn't miss out on this one. The water is cold and very refreshing. The trip downhill was great, though tiring because of the view. The locals are very very friendly and helpful. There's this kid who offered to take the photos for us which really turned out to be great. And there's this grandpa who offered to watch over our things while we go for a swim. It rained the day we went, and they were kind enough to transfer our bags on a roofed area while we were still swimming.

One of the highlights of my trip in iligan. It’s a bit physical having to go down, and eventually, back up 400 steps. But the view and the experience is worth it! The more you look at it, the more you see and appreciate!

Tinago Falls are a bit - as the name says - hidden and you have to climb the 2 year old stair cases down. However standing in front of the falls reimburses the walk. There is a small lake to swim with the waterfalls in the front. You can ride a bamboo boat directly into the waterfalls and climb the rocks to jump from inside the waterfalls to the lake. Around the lake you can find small shops with beverages (also beer) and snacks. A nice relaxing experience.

Tinago is a "hidden paradise" or in Filipino, "Paraisong Nakatago." It is so beautiful and the water is cool and refreshing.

After diving into the water, I really feel so refreshed and energized. Unlike any pools where water is treated, but here you can really feel its nature's gift.

Tinago literally means “hidden” in Filipino. That doesn’t mean that people don’t know about this natural gem. These falls are being hidden in a deep ravine that’s why it’s a bit of a struggle to get there.

Hi Brent, you may avail the Airlines Travel Insurance. Or you may look up legitimate travel agency in Mindanao particularly in this Place, Lanao Del Norte

you can get there by bicycle "habal2x or motor" because taxi is a lil pricey and some taxi drivers will take advantage to tourists that they will demand unreasonable price. Even some of the habal-habal drivers are too pricey tho.. so better ask some bystanders about the regular fare or best would be to have friend for your guide. You can even invite me😁 i can show you around for free no joke 😉
Can we still go to the falls late afternoon? Like 430pm?

I agree, it's better to get there earlier when the sun's still out. You can still go later, but it's better to go early morning or midday. You can spend hours there!

Better to buy food before getting to Tinago Falls. The one being sold at Tinago falls are just chichirias.
