Here's my story: I wanted to do open water dive in Oct'22 but was really scared about it. So, I booked my course, went to Pondicherry and came back home w/o taking the course. Unexpectedly, Shavir from Temple Adventure called me and talked about 40 mins to tell me everything about how they train and their process and everything else about Scuba.
Thanks to Shavir and cut to Jan'23 - I did go Pondicherry and successfully completed my course. The best of diving with Temple is that they have a very detailed and elaborate process of training. On day-0, we were trained about the equipment (our instructor, Akhil) took about 1-2 hours to just explain every detail of the equipments. It was followed by confined pool training - which was another 3 hours exercise, wherein we practiced all the skills needed to dive.
Next day - we dived in lake, where we also had swimming and float test. Inside the lake, we demonstrated the skills we had learned on day 0. And, we did learn new skills as well (like navigation). We had 2 dives on day-1
Final day of training and certification - we dived in ocean and all the fear, doubts and everything else - they just fade away once you enter the water. We did two dives and the last one was a fun dive, wherein we just hovered around. I felt very relaxed and saw different fishes as well :-)
My friend and I are already planning advanced and deep course with Temple, but goes w/o saying that Temple is the best place to learn to dive and dive in India. End of the day, very thankful to Shavir, Akhil and Adit (intern at Temple who assisted us in dive).
Strongly recommending Temple adventures for everyone who wants to dive. And, even if you are not sure if diving is for you - call them, I am sure, they'll help you make the right decision.

This is one of the best experience and fulfilment of one of my main item in my bucket list. My Main Instructor Aishwarya along with Senior Instructor Rajat have been very good and helpful coach during the entire duration of my Open Water Diver course which I completed under the hawk's eye of Elite Divers Praveen & Nabeel on me.
Will visit again for Advance course & wish to do it with the above mentioned same Team of Fantastic Four.

did my instructor pgme from temple...learnt a lot .during those days...after 3 yrs ...completed my 2x Speciality and MSDT with Course Dir Shaveer (temple adventure) . What more i can say about Shaveer , a patient listener who had all my doubts cleared and made few complicated topics as simple as possible.
He is like a Bible on diving. Will meet u soon..for more courses ...
Again i am saying..IF YOU WANT TO MEET DIVING GODS ...GO TO TEMPLE AND HAVE AN ADVENTURE ...

Got my Open Water Certification with Temple Adventures. The set of instructors at Temple are very professional and supportive. Their setup too is one of a kind.
Always wanted to explore the underwater world and Temple created a good pathway for it. Best part is that they put lots of efforts in maintaining the dive site 'THE TEMPLE REEF'.
Special mention to Ms.Aishwarya Manchekar who had been more of a friend than an instructor. She's been a great stepping stone in helping a lot of students get their Certification done in a seamless manner.
Looking forward to more dives with Temple. \m/

Had a soul satisfying experience with the temple team especially with instructors Ms. Aiswarya and Mr. Rajat. Their inputs and knowledge about the dives were very valuable.

The experience was amazing, got an opportunity to learn from two outstanding instructors Mr Rajat and Ms Aishwarya.
They both were very patient while making me learn the skills and ensured that I keep redoing it until I know it well.
The last two ocean dives were memorable and I was able to do it very easily because of the skills I was made to do in the initial dives, again the credit goes to the instructors for their patience.
I would recommend Temple Adventures to everyone who wants to experience scuba.

Without a second thought, this is the place you should join to learn Scuba diving.
The learning program is structured in a manner taking consideration of every individual needs as well.
Mr. Rajat T and Ms. Aishwarya Manchekar were my instructors during my certification. I would like to thank both of them for their patience in teaching me during my difficult endeavour to perform the skills required. Would definitely like to acknowledge and recommend both as an instructor and Temple Adventures as the go to dive centre.
A special thanks to Me. Aishwarya Manchekar, who literally made me overcome my mental block enabling me to complete my dive. She was very patient and and supportive enabling me to complete my certification. Indeed she deserves a 7 star rating.

I did my first discover scuba diving in 2010 and I was fortunate to do that in one of the best dive sites of the world. The dive site was the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland Australia. it was since then that I have been wanting to develop all my scuba skills.
I did multiple DSD’s in the last couple of years with Temple Adventures at Pondicherry. however, in September 2022, I was finally able to get time and courage to go in for my PADI Open Water Certification with Temple Adventures.
It was a fantabulous experience during certification, and I got to learn so much regarding scuba diving and quick responses for different scenarios and situations.
Aishwarya Manchekar and Shaveer were my instructors during my certification. I am so grateful and thankful to Aishwarya for the patience and perseverance in supporting me throughout my open water certification. Would definitely like to acknowledge and recommend Aishwarya as an instructor and Temple Adventures as the go to dive centre.
Special call out to Velu and all these support staff at temple adventures for their help and support during my certification.
P.S. My 11 year old son completed his 2nd DSD also with me this time!!

Having completed my Advance Open Water Divers certification (with Temple Adventures, Chennai), I made a dive trip to explore the Pondicherry waters with Temple Adventures, Pondicherry. I wanted to complete 3 speciality dive certifications and I reached out to the team to help me plan. Shaveer made out my plan so perfectly so I could learn and practice my dives hassle free. Be it the dives at the Quarry or out in the ocean, the whole experience was delivered so professionally. The team really takes care of you through and through, teaching you the right skills and techniques under the water or even at a theory class over the water. You dont have to worry about a thing, the team even takes care of you off-dive, right from your meal if you’re headed far to the snacks on board. Special shout out to Najeem, Guru, and Priyam for instructing me through my courses and giving me the confidence to dive different spots and conditions. If you’re a first time diver or a seasoned one, Temple Adventures should be a part of your plan at Pondicherry!!

I had an awesome experience at Pondicherry.
I have done Open water and Advance Open water diver courses. It's a great learning process. I have developed an interest in other specialty courses as well. Thanks to Parthi( who has taken my confined water sessions), Pushkar(Open water sessions), Najeem( Deep & Drift dives), Shaveer Patel (Wreck dive).
Somehow , They proved that it is really easy to follow the Golden philosophy -
" Work is Worship", Because every person who is working at temple adventures is really passionate about their work. They know their own responsibility.
Temple Adventures are on a mission of fulfilling diving dreams of many people and it continues forever n ever.

10 years is ideal
Formally speaking 8 years with no medical condition that prevents from taking a dive is basic prerequisite for PADI bubble maker.thats youngest program available.
Diving depth upto 6ft or 2mts shallow.its about experiencing diving for first time and you are breathing nitrox for first time.
Do you conduct only scuba diving or any other activities is there??

The Temple Adventures we went to is a large PADI scuba centre. I don't think they do anything else but you would have to contact them directly.

I don’t know nothing about scuba diving,even I am basic level swimmer,Is there any rules for me -not to dive?

Hi, that's the beauty of scuba diving. To experience the first level you don't have to be a swimmer. All the basics are taught to you in an hour of theory class if you are doing the basic course and therefore when you go to the ocean you go all prepared.
The only thing to take care of is basic fitness. And you should not have high blood pressure.

Hi...First of all great choice to experience scuba.
There are different type of courses in scuba which will cost you differently. The range is from 6K to 32K depending on the course.
My suggestion is that you call temple adventures directly or visit their website for more details.
They are very responsive on email and phone both.
