‪Wine tasting afternoon‬

‪We visited this family winery while on a day stop in Hvar as part of our Unforgettable Croatia yacht cruise down the Dalmatian coast. The visit was well organised in a large tasting room accommodating our whole group of around 36 people. We tasted four wines and servings were generous. Meats cheeses and bread were also provided. The cellar door was about 30 minutes on the bus from the Hvar port. Staff were friendly and efficient. Wines were good too 😊‬

‪Fun day with new friends‬

‪We were taken here on a group cruise tour with 18 other couples. They gave us 6 big tastes, water and an AWESOME cheese and nibbles board. We needed up buying a bottle to drink another night. Prices are reasonable and room was elegant, and impressive‬

‪Fabulous vineyard that is worth the drive from Hvar. We absolutely loved it. The staff is warm and welcoming. Very much a fun spot.‬

‪Sehr gute Weine im mittleren und höheren Preissegment. Speziell der Caplar ist ausgezeichnet. Im Vergleich zu anderen Weingüter wirkt Tomić etwas unpersönlich.‬

‪Wonderful experience ‬

‪The people here take pride in their art and have a real passion for their product. What better way to sample Hvar island than with the best wines, paired perfectly with local cheeses, fish and meats shared with the knowledge and hospitality of the local people who work in the winery. Antonija was a great host, sommelier and waitress. Easy to book ahead through the website and just a short walk along the shoreline from Jelsa. 😊🍷‬

‪Instructive introduction to wines that we then drank during the rest of our visit in Croatia. Useful pairing of wines with tapas, which were delicious. We initially missed the turn for the winery, then saw, doubling back, the sign at the bottom of the indicator. Because I was driving, I tasted the wine rather than drinking it down.‬

‪Had such a great afternoon at the Tomić winery.. lovely surroundings.. our great host Antonia was knowledgable and funny.. wine was outstanding and was paired with cheeses that were wonderful .. this was the first time our grown up kids had done wine tasting and we all had a great day.. def one to put on your list if coming to hvar .. ‬

‪Great wine and tour!‬

‪We had a group of 12 (3 children under 10) on the wine tour and we all had a blast. We booked our tour directly through the winery's website and had no problem doing so. Everyone was able to pay separately for their tour at the end of the day, which we greatly appreciated with having multiple parties in the 12. The wine was amazing and the food pairings were perfect. They were so accommodating and brought out more food when we would eat them too soon! I think every adult in our party ended up purchasing wine to go. My family (3 of the 12) brought back 4 bottles to the United States and have greatly enjoyed sharing this wonderful Croatian wine with our family and friends! We had no issues during the tour having 3 children with our party, and the tour guide was so gracious to give them all juice while we had our tasting!‬
