I highly recommend Manta Diving. In October 2022 I did my PADI Advanced with Safari diving and everything about Manta is better! Great new equipment, spacious premises with hot showers and a toilet. Best of all is the staff, their attitude, friendliness and attention to safety goes along way to a relative newbie like me. I dived with Adam, Ben and Joaquin on my 5 dives with Manta. My husband and I really enjoyed our dive at Museum Atlantico off of Playa Blanca. Thanks guys for all of your help, I just need to build up my leg strength now!! From Dawn & Phil x

I am a Padi IDC-S Instructor and I dived with the Manta Diving center on my vacation. I can warmly recommend them to everyone. The service was good and professional. Their equipment was new and in good condition, and safety was well thought of. This is a good dive operator.

Just passed my Open Water with Manta and it was first class start to finish. Booking and planning through Rachel could not have been simpler she helped me through it all👍
Lucky enough to be 1 on 1 with Piere he was friendly and helpful and explained everything so that even people like me can understand.
Great experience more dives with then to come for sure 😁. Everyone at the centre was fun and friendly makes you feel at ease straight away even solos like me

Manta has the best purpose-built vessel on the island. Easy access to get in and outm easy access to the dive sites. And boy do they take you to places.
The staff has a great sense of humour and they can even stand two Finns making bad (and old) puns continually.
Diving is safe and fun. And even completely fresh divers are treated with extra patience and respect.
Dive with the best and go with these guys.

Realizamos una inmersión con amigos y fueron amabilísimo, responsables, profesionales y con muchísima dedicación a su trabajo, en especial Pierre y Víctor, pero un cielo todo el equipo sinceramente.

The best hire kit I have ever used. Brand new, top quality wetsuits, bcd and regs. The dive boat is also in top condition and the staff super friendly. To top it off the dive sites I went to exceeded all expectations. Saw an angel shark, massive rays, octopus, big nudis and countless cuttlefish and fish, 5* hope to be back very soon and dive with them again. Highly recommend.

Maravillosa experiencia para mi marido. Destacaríamos todo desde María la instructora y también los demás instructores como la inmersión.
Raquel la receocionista es un amor y todos los instructores ingleses son majisimos.
La primera inmersión ha sido increible y ves peces que nunca había visto.
Puedes ir con confianza. Están muy atentos del grupo bajo el agua y no te dejan de vigilar. Explican todo muy bien y te inspiran mucha tranquildad.
María muchas gracias de parte de Jaime y mía por hacer que fuese un dia especial como regalo de aniversario. Profesionales 100 %

I cannot recommend Manta enough! I went to Lanzarote over Christmas 2022 with the sole purpose to go scuba diving and fit in as many as possible. I also hoped to finish off my BSAC sports diver. Manta instructor Adam helped me finish my Sports Diver course which was great, he was a relaxed patient instructor with a good sense of humour. During my time with Manta, 10 dives over the week at different dive sites, I also went diving with Pierre and Rachel [Raquel]. I had such an incredible time diving and saw a range of wildlife from angel sharks to rays to octopus, moray eel and barracuda.
As a relatively new diver I felt comfortable, welcomed and safe.
Their boat is fab and their boat skipper Carols is a great character.
Thank you to the whole team who I feel really went above and beyond [ I won't mention being sat on :) ]; including Rachel bringing her camera the last day so I had some video and photos to remember it all.

My husband scuba dived in Greece 2 years ago and loved it they are hoping to do it again in july with my aunt who hasn't dived before we are staying in the sol lanazorte is that near you and how much would it be to do 2 dives each

Hey Michelle,
Yes of course we can take your husband diving while you are in Lanzarote! We can pick you up from Sol Lanzarote, its about 10 minutes drive away. The price of 2 dives is 99€ and includes photos. If you send me an email with the dates that you are in Lanzarote we can arrange a dive for you both!

I am coming to Lanzarote in September, I have scuba dived on holiday a few times in the past but is it true you can no longer dive without a padi certificate?

Hey Chloe,
No don't worry, that's not true at all! You can join us for the PADI discover scuba dive and then after that you can do follow up dives. The maximum depth you can go to without a certification is 12 metres.

Hi all! My self and my family (16 of us) will be in lanzarote, playa del carmen from June 29th, 6 of us are all avid snorkelers and we did a 2 hour scuba dive experience 2 weeks ago but only pool based and we would absolutely love to dive open water when we are there. Is this possible without a full PADI? Thanks!

Hi Laura,
Yes of course! We can take you on the PADI Discover Scuba Dive. This is a 2 hour excursion and includes a 30-35 minute dive in the sea. We do it in Playa Chica where there are lots of fish for you to see! We go down to a maximum depth of 6 metres. If you send me an email with the dates you are in Lanzarote I can arrange a dive for you and your family members.

If it's a first dive at the depth of around 6ft maximum, (I'm just curious) what type of marine life would you usually see (or could you see if you're lucky)?

Hey,
On the first time dive we go to a maximum depth of 6 metres. We do the dive in Playa Chica bay and you can expect to see cow bream, ornate wrasse, damselfish, parrotfish, flounders maybe even an arrowhead crab too!

Hi Kevin,
On the discover scuba dive we go to a maximum depth of 6 metres. The whole experience takes 2 hours in total. The time under the water is around 30-35 minutes.

Hi,
The best option for your daughter is the PADI Discover Scuba Diving. This session lasts around 2 hours in total and we take her on a dive to 6 metres. Some of the fish she may she include bream, damselfish, parrotfish and flounders. The price is 59€ per person. We recommend pre-booking, so when you have your hotel and flights booked send me an email and we can arrange a dive for her!

Hi Anthony,
If it is your first time scuba diving the discover scuba dive lasts around 2 hours from start to finish. The snorkelling session lasts around 1.5 hours.

Yes your son can try scuba diving. The minimum age to try scuba diving is 8 years old. As he is 13 the best option for him is the PADI Discover Scuba Dive. If you check out our website it gives you all the information about the dive! Any questions just send us an email!
