Sehr schöner Markt, in einigen Straßen recht eng, mit Kinderwagen nicht zu empfehlen. Sehr viele stände verkaufen immer wieder das gleiche, die Läden drum herum sind jedoch echt zu empfehlen und die Stadt an sich lädt zum schlendern ein. Ist einen Besuch wert!

El pueblo es muy bonito, y el mercadillo está muy bien para pasar una mañana, la pena es que en agosto está masificado, han muerto de éxito, entre guiris y nacionales es difícil andar por las calles donde están los puestos, y es difícil poder mirar o comprar en las paraditas, ya que está plagado de gente. No es barato, yo creo que este mercado está muy enfocado al turismo extrangero, alemanes e ingleses sobretodo, que supongo que son los que realmente compran y les dejan dinero.

Very big and nice market with lots of interesting things to see, taste and buy. Great place to shop for local products to take home. Besides the market there are a lot of nice places for breakfast or lunch. the only downside are the big crowds.

Selve markedet syntes jeg er veldig oppskrytt. kan være noe fint innimellom, men mye typisk turistfeller med fake design vesker osv. Veldig mye folk og mas, men var noen fine butikker med blandt annet keramikk utenom markedet.

Fuimos a Santanyi porque nos dijeron que era muy bonito (que lo es), pero no esperábamos encontrarnos el mercado que organizan semanalmente en todo el centro del pueblo. Literalmente las calles llenas de tenderetes de ropa, productos de cuero, artesanía, comida típica, fruta, joyas... Muy buen ambiente, lleno de extranjeros eso sí y los bares algo caros.

Der Mark und die Stände sind Abwechslungsreich und interessant. Obst und Gemüse an einigen Markständen aber völlig überteuert und die Qualität ist nichts besonderes. Zu erkennen sind die Stände ohne eine Auszeichnung der Preise. Frage Sie nach den Preisen.

Der schönste Markt auf der Insel, OK wir waren noch nicht auf allen aber auf vielen!! Es gibt super schöne Sachen dort und die süßen Gassen sind einfach wunderschön. Ich kann den Markt absolut empfehlen. Soviel geshoppt habe ich noch auf keinem Markt auf Mallorca.

…besonders für Selbstversorger, weil man auf den klassischen Marktständen alles findet, was man braucht um eine Woche überbrücken zu können und das teilweise auch in BIo-Qualität und in einem sehr reichhaltigem Produktangebot. Was Kleider und Handtaschen anbelangt ist das Meiste Ramsch, aber zwischen den Marktständen finden sich noch viele Geschäfte die ausgezeichnete Ware anbieten.

Wir waren schon oft hier aber ich muss sagen, in der Corona Zeit gefällt er mir persönlich am besten. Natürlich ist der Umsatz für die Betreiber nicht wie erwünscht.. dennoch mag ich diese nicht überfüllte Straßen. Jeder stand kann genüsslich begutachtet werden und das Kaufen macht viel mehr Spaß. Hier gibt es nichts, was es nicht gibt… Obst, Gemüse, Gewürze, Fisch, Wurst, Kleidung, Schmuck und vieles mehr - einfach toll.
Wir kommen definitiv wieder…

Most places should be open on a friday. There is a big outlet with supermarket/hypermarket near the airport. Not sure about markets during the winter time but you can check online if you search Markets in Majorca.
How far is the market from Cala d or

The distance between Cala d'Or and the central market of Santanyi is about 14 km. It is an easy drive or bus trip. Parking on market days can be tricky. Be prepared to walk a bit. Or consider the public bus Moovit ap.

Hi! I wonder if the opening hours/days for the Santanyi market, wednesdays and saturdays, is all year around? Or closed at any low season? I'm going there in april, so I need to know if its open both days, since we also plan to find a nice hotel around Santanyi.

I looked at markets in Mallorca and acc to info below the market I visited is only between June and October.

There is a weekly market every Friday morning as well as a tourist market every Sunday morning in Cala d'Or.
The weekly traditional market happens every Friday morning at Plaça d'Eivissa. The crafts market takes place only during the summer, from June to October in Plaça de Toni Costa.

Todos los miércoles y sábados (excepto festivos), el horario depende del puesto, más o menos entre las 9 y las 2, pero siempre hay puestos que se montan/desmontan antes o después
