‪Nice church in village centre and next to Abby and has some really stained Windows. Worth taking time to visit.‬

‪A beautiful Catholic church in Cong‬

‪During a tour of Cong, we stopped to take a tour of St. Mary. We found this small church to be quite modern considering the area that it is located. There was a service when we first got there so we return back after the service and toured the interior. Beautiful stained glass windows gave the interior a peaceful and welcoming presence. You must stop in to see these windows.‬

‪I was surprised by how modern the church was inside in contrast to the surroundings outside. I'm sure it serves it's parish well in this day and age! ‬

‪This is a recently built modern church bordering the ruins of the previous church and an abbey. It would be very easy to walk past and miss this church given the more imposing ruins to one side and across the road.

However, the interior of the church is spectacular in its simplicity, and the stained glass windows are beautiful. Normally, church interiors are not something of particular interest, but I found the inside of this church special, calm and inspiring.

Definitely worth a 10 minute visit to soak in the atmosphere...‬
