In vacanza ad Argegno per tre giorni a gennaio, la funivia è a pochi passi dal centro del paese, per entrare nelle nuvole. Sopra si arriva a Pigra, un paesino tutto in salita, che vale la pena vedere. Assolutamente da percorrere il sentiero che lungo il bosco, porta lalpunto panoramico. Villa imponente da osservare a lato.
Simpatica la signora che gestisce il bar, buon vino bianco e salumi consumati in allegria con tre signore svizzere i cui genitori erano nativi di Pigra, ed emigrati.

Un pueblo hermoso, hay bares y restaurantes y también sale de ahí el ferry hacia Bellagio, un lugar soñado!
Es un poco complicado el tema del parkin, ir con tiempo y paciencia.

Great experience- excellent views!
We took the funivia up to Pigra at the end of September (be aware they close for lunch on weekdays!) and the views were amazing.
Good value (€10 return for two) for some gorgeous photos and a lovely walk through Pigra and into the pine forest (route 2). I’d recommend good shoes and suitable clothing if you’re going to do the walks- they’re very ‘walk-y’ but also gorgeous.
The whole place is peaceful.
Staff are friendly.

Very nice also best location was in hotel villa belvedere in argegno, we had everything next to us.. we went with cable car to pigra beautiful view, also the ferry . Who is going to use the bus important to buy the ticket before cos they dont like to use bus without ticket.

This is well worth a visit for the wonderful views from the top, although they are a bit spoiled by the high voltage cables and pylons across the front at the belvedere! We enjoyed our light lunch at the first bar you come to, so would be happy to recommend it. The main problem is that it's so hard to find, as there are no signs - while we were stood in front of it, someone asked us where it was! If you're coming from the Lenno direction, it's the stop BEFORE you get into Argegno, so ask your driver to stop there.

La corsa in funivia non dura molto ma il panorama che si gode da qui sopra guardando il lago lontano è bellissimo. Ti consente di arrivare a Pigra se. non si vuole salire in auto.

Vue magnifique sur le lac peut être gâché par les pylônes... Téléphérique peu cher et rapide . Village fort sympathique .

Peu cher, sans attente, ce téléphérique permet d’accéder rapidement aux hauteurs d’Argegno et de profiter d’un très beau panorama. Néanmoins l’arrivée se fait sur un parking à Pigra. Le belvédère est atteint après 15mn de marche (chemin ombragé) mais la vue est gâchée par des pylônes et des câbles. Comme ce transport demande le port obligatoire du masque FFP2 et d’une muselière pour le chien, nous sommes redescendu par le sentier (N°5). Une heure de pente assez raide mais une randonnée assez facile et très bien indiquée.

La funivia collega Pigra ad Argegno. Nel nostro caso, eravamo in montagna sopra Pigra e dovevamo andare ad Argegno; per evitare di perdere tempo a cercare parcheggio ad Argegno (oltre al costo del parcheggio stesso), abbiamo utilizzato la funivia per scendere e poi risalire. Il trasporto è veloce e comodo, lo staff gentile e la vista dall’alto è mozzafiato! Lungo la salita abbiamo avvistato caprioli e cinghiali proprio sotto i cavi della funivia.

Hallo Giuseppe,
wir planen einen Famielienurlaub mit unseren inzwischen gehbeinderten Mütter/Schwiegermutter. Nun suchen wir Aktivitäten, was wir denn mit ihnen unternehmen können. Ist der Einstieg und der Ausstieg machbar für ältere Menschen. Viele Treppen oder keine Möglichkeit die Mamas Nahe an der Seilbahn aus dem Auto zu lassen?

Hi. We are thinking about lake Como at the start of October and wondering if the cable car will still be running or finished up for winter?

Hi, I think the cable car operates all year round as it is used by people to get to work/school etc.
