Zusammenfassung: DO NOT GO THERE! Ich war nie an einem Ort der dreckiger war. Es tut mir leid für die Restaurant- und Hotelbetreiber vor Ort, aber ich muss es so sagen. Der Strand ist an der östlichen Seite extrem dreckig. Auch der Fußweg zum Strand von Agios Georgios Pagon (Honigtal) war unbeschreiblich dreckig und deprimierend. Der Ort sieht aus, als wäre dort Bürgerkrieg: komplett zerstörte Häuser, dann wieder eine Bar, ein Cafe, die funktionieren. Volle, nicht abgeholte Müllsäcke überall. Am Strand ist die Holzpromenade zum Großteil zerbrochen, Straßenlampen abgeknickt; es ist gefährlich dort Abends entlang zu gehen, man sieht gar nichts. Es ist eklig. Auch das nette Honigtal-Familiencamp von Elan Sportreisen kann die üble Umgebung nicht vergessen machen. Ihr solltet das Honigtal-Camp schliessen.

Visited this beach for a day recently. Would describe it as a lovely beach sandy in the main with some pebbles. The water was clear and lovely for swimming and safe for children. In October the sunbeds were plentiful and priced at 7 euro with a brolly for the day. Plenty of local cafes and stores to provide refreshments and overall would say this was a beautiful, beach lovely scenery around and in all a great place to spend a warm sunny day.

Пляж очень хороший.Два с половиной километра его протяженность. Песочек крупный вулканический,потом камни и снова песок.Необыкновенные блики. Много рыбок их можно увидеть в маске,вода прозрачная. А какие закаты!

La mia spiaggia preferita.
Durante la nostra gita, ci consigliano di fermarci ad Agios Beach.
Non c'era nessuno. Era una spiaggia praticamente privata per me e la mia morosa. La gente era inesistente, non c'era confusione come in tutte le altre che abbiamo visitato.
Come leggo da altri recensori, anche noi abbiamo fatto fatica a raggiungere questo lato di isola, conviene per chi vuole girare di prendere almeno il 125cc. Con il 50cc è difficile e tortuoso arrivarci, ma con un po' di fatica ce la si fa. Il mare di questa spiaggia è cristallino, tutto pulito ma non molto attrezzato. Non ci sono chioschi se non qualche bar qua e la lungo la costa.
Durante la nostra gita, ci consigliano di fermarci ad Agios Beach.

Ruhiger schöner Strand. Klares Wasser. Überhaupt nicht überlaufen. Das Wasser war sehr frisch für mich aber eine tolle Abkühlung. Hat einige tolle Bars und Restaurants am Strand. Würde ich sofort wieder gehen.

Was an hours drive from St George's south but well worth the journey.
Beautiful Beach with good beds 15 euro with a drink each and use of the toilets
Had a gorgeous cocktail too
Funky House .The food looked delicious.

Ampia spiaggia non lontano da Paleokastriza, ma con una strada un pò tortuosa per raggiungerla.
La spiaggia è per lo più sabbiosa, in alcuni punto più "ciottolosa".
Nel complesso permette di vivere la spiaggia come più si preferisce, alternando tratti di spiaggia libera, a tratti attrezzati con ombrelloni e lettini e stabilimenti balneari che in realtà sono delle taverne e fanno servizio bar e ristorazione direttamente sotto l'ombrellone. Il prezzo medio di un ombrellone è si 8-10 euro x 2 persone, il costo delle taverne varia, ma sono tutte molto buone.
Al centro della spiaggia c'è anche un servizio di noleggio barche che organizza anche gite guidate di diverse ore. Bellissimo il tramonto sul promontorio di Porto Timoni.
Unica nota negativa, la viabilità in quanto la strada/lungomare in alcuni punti è stretta, semi asfaltata e con le auto parcheggiate al lato che restringono la carreggiata.

Ons favoriete strand! Prachtig helder water omringd door groene heuvels. Een stuk rustiger dat Agios Stefanos!
Er hangt hier een relaxte sfeer en er zijn voldoende taverna’s en ligbedjes voor een prima prijs!

We found it very peaceful and relatively quiet, but still with some supermarkets and tavernas, so not isolated.
Hi we are staying at the Dora apartments 26th Aug is it far to nightlife and shops ? Did we need a torch going back to hotel !

Back streets and streets away from the main "strip" can be quite dark. Easy enough to see, but the cars and bikes do tend to drive quite fast.
We used the torch on my mobile just to stay visible.
Everything is within walking distance, although there is a tourist land train that runs up and down.

What is the nightlife like? We’ve been going to Corfu for years and always stay in Sidari. I was fancying somewhere different and Agios Gordon’s looks beautiful but is it too quiet?

We stayed their at the beginning of the season, their is a nightclub opens only Friday and Saturday night, plenty bars, karaoke and football and tribute nights so yes, theirs also Mad Mikes not in the main strip but I would recommend going their not far to walk great atmosphere very cheap and he has gigs on twice a week hope that helps.

We have seen a report by a couple in Agios Georgios saying the village and beach is covered with litter and builders rubble in May 2010 is this so

No there is not. In fact this part of the beach is quite small and there are children on the beach here and it is overlooked by a bar and restaurant.
The beach is lovely and peaceful though and I am sure you will have a great holiday.

Agios Georgios is a beautiful sandy beach. There are pavements along the front by the shops and bars, the main problem would be the height of the drop sometimes from pavement to road. I think you would be able to get to the beach from most of the accommodation, once there you would have to walk along the pavement until you reached a shallow enough dip to access the beach. Hope this helps

I want to ask if there is posibility to go on other beaches by bus? I know that is better with car but we are two persons so it will cost expensive if we rent a car every day...so in Agios Georgios is there a line with bus for other beaches for ex.paleokastrisa glifada or sidari? Thank you

There are Green buses, but not that frequent. Good for corfu town and resorts on route. For Paleo, you will need a connecting bus or do an organised trip.
Hiring a car is well worth the money as you can find,so many hidden gems such as Bouka, Alikes, Ermones. Also go into the mountains to Cholomos, Kaisers crown. Not to mention doing Corfu town at night which is beautiful and much cooler. Also, the resorts you mentioned are all over an hour drive up to 2 hours, so bus is going to take a lot longer.
