This impressive temple is a reflection of Chinese society in Macau. Although close to the main tourist sites, Hong Kung Temple is largely a local gathering place. There is a popular night market nearby.

十月初五日街を進むと道を挟んで "Hong KungTemple" と "Largo do Pagoda do Bazar" となっていました。観光客の参拝は少なそうで地元の寺院風となっていました。猶、寺院の額には "康眞君廟" と掲げられていました。

「康公廟」をご存じでしょうか？聖ポール天主堂跡から西側にはずれ十月初五街付近を散策中に見つけました。正確には「康真君廟」と言うのでしょうか、そう書いていました。
マカオはポルトガル領であった為多くの教会が建っていますが、その中にも中国文化が融合し庶民の生活感が漂っています。また寺内には渦巻き型の線香が吊るされ日本にない光景を観ることができます。

康公廟は新馬路をセナド広場からポンテ１６に向かって５，６分歩き、十月初五日街を右に曲がって一分程歩くと右手にあります。
康公廟の前は康公廟前地と言う名の小さな公園で、地元民が憩いの一時を過ごしています。
康公廟は地元では康真君廟と呼ばれる道教の寺で、祀られているのは漢代の武将の康公ですが、康公の他にも数名の神様が祀られていて、中央に祀られているのが康公です。
門を入った内部は十数ｍ四方と狭いですが、いかにも中国チックな廟の趣があり、一月燃え続ける渦巻き状の線香の煙がたなびいています。
十月初五日街のこの康公廟付近は観光客があまり来ませんが、ここから北にかけてＢ級グルメの安くて美味しい店が点在します。

An interesting temple to visit near the Macau World Heritage area is that of the 200 year old Hong Kung Miu temple at the intersection of Rua das Estalgens and Rua Cinco de Octubro.
The temple is dedicated to the Chief Hong Kung and is typical of Qing Dynasty temple architecture. The facade includes hanging lanterns, stone lions guarding the entrance and expected mural scenes.
Within the temple you will find an inner courtyard with incense burner and hanging incense coils, surrounded by front, back and side halls with shrines to Hong Kung and various other deities. You'll see food offerings, a historic bell, drum and other typical features within Hong Kung Temple.
Overall, this is a good temple visit to make if you plan to spend time in this area of the Macau Peninsula. If you are particularly interested in making temple visits during your time in Macau, this is one worth seeking out.

比较传统的汉族庙宇，香火还不少。这里供奉的除了康公，还有其他的几个汉族民间神祗。这个庙不是很多人，可以参观

Hong Kung is a nearly 200 year old temple that you can visit on Rua das Estalgens, near the Historic Centre of Macau. Its a good attraction to visit for those interested in seeing more temples beyond those including in the World Heritage area.
Dedicated to the Immortal Chief General Hong Kung, this is a typical Chinese style temple with grey brick exterior and decorative facade. There is a nice interior courtyard with hanging incense coils, shrines, smaller deity figures and other items of worship found in temples throughout Macau.
Note: Hong Kung Mui Temple receives far fewer visitors compared to those within the World Heritage area, making it convenient and peaceful to visit during trips to Macau.

マカオで最も古いストリートの【十月初五日街】を入ってしばらく歩いた右側にある古い寺院。地元民が線香を供えていた。中には中国独特のらせん式の大きな線香がいくつも燃やされていた。中では廟の管理人家族がのどかに食事中であった。セナド広場や聖ポール天主堂からさほど離れていないが、全く静かで別世界、観光客（外国人）は街歩きの私ぐらいであった。

現在每逢星期六日都會有康公夜市，都算有一定特色，食物方面感覺都是家庭式，不能說有什麼驚喜，但性價比高！
