We've been coming to Pefkos on and off for about 10 years. We absolutely love the beach and the multitude of good restaurants and bars they have throughout the town. We are not pool people so always go to the beach, sadly as has been noted by other travelers the cost of the sun beds is now 25 Euro! So if you are on a 14 night break as a couple that 350 Euro. This is ridiculous and I simply cannot justify paying this amount of money to lay on the beach in Pefkos. Hopefully if more people avoid the beach the cost can be reduced to something more acceptable.

The beach itself is lovely, water is crystal clear and the nearby cafe does some good food very reasonably priced. Sadly at 25 Euros a day for 2 sun beds it's just too pricey for what it is - apparently the people who were inflating the prices of sunbeds in Mykonos were kicked out by the government and have now descended onto Pefkos, Lindos and Lardos with prices dramatically increasing. It's bad enough that I wouldn't return here solely for this reason!

Would have got 5+ if they didn't charge €25 for two beds and a brolly!!!!
Beautiful beach, shallow warm water and soft sand, gets quite busy but very chilled later on, toilets nearby that you have to pay to use!
We would have spent more time there but pricey which is a shame :(

Spiaggia ancora bella e sabbiosa ma col tempo ormai diventata troppo conosciuta e frequentata ed ormai a prezzi da strozzo (25€). Rispetto a 20 anni fa tutti diversi i dintorni e troppo turisticizzati. Vicino si trova di meglio.

Warm sea, golden beaches, clean, litter free, friendly vibe, lots of sunbeds, what’s not to like !! The sea is cam with no waves so not good if you’re a surfer !!

What has happened to Lee beach!? Its so dirty now compared to my last visit a few years ago!
Sunbeds are really expensive at a charge of €25 you would think the beach would be kept clean, sunbed owners should hold some responsibility for this with what they are charging. Fag ends, bits of plastic and even glass totally ruined what was a beautiful place to sunbathe, so sad to see it in this state. Have opted to go elsewhere in future.

As others have said the sunbed mafia have taken over this spot and are charging €25 for 2 beds and a parasol. If you get here early there are beds immediately to the left as you walk down the ramp that are €15 for the same combo, and I heard that there are also some at the extreme right side of the beach for the same money. If the bed is made of wood then they are the rip off ones, the metal ones are just as good but €10 cheaper. Luckily our apartment was close to the beach so we could get there early having said that if we couldn't get a €15 euro bed then it would be back to the pool. Shame really because Lee beach is lovely beach. A lady who has had an apartment on the island for years told us it is down to Albanian gangs and not the locals who are responsible for the hike. Still if they are out bidding the locals for the franchise then the Greek Authorities need to step in because it will be the downfall of the place. Can't believe how much prices have risen generally but I suppose while people will pay it, that will be the going rate.

Unfortunately the greedy Greek sun bed mafia have moved in on lee beach pefkos.
25 euros for most sun beds , except for the wonderful people at flyers bar , who rent out sun beds at 15euros. Vote with your feet.

Sunbed prices are a complete rip-off. 25 euros for two sunbeds and a parasol between Lee Beach and Philosophis Beach at Pefkos. The operator must be raking in at least 1,000 euros a day.

How much is it to hire sunloungers and an umbrella on the beaches around Pefkas in 2023? Just the basic ones, not the ones with safe and coolbox. We seem to be seeing 20 euros for two beds which is double what it was last year. Thanks.

I'm here now, July 2023. Price is €25 for two beds and an umbrella. That's the basic ones near Lee Beach Bar. No drinks, no safe etc. Expensive right?!
Hi! Can anyone tell me, where at the beach/at which beach section there are no stones / less stones in the water? I am in Pefkos with my children ( 6 and 9 years old) end of Juley and of course it is easier and nicer if they can sit and walk in the water if there are as less stones as possible. Thanks so much! Hi, I will be staying in Pefkos at the end of this month.
Could you please tell me the nearest beach that have jet ski’s and also if there is somewhere we could hire a small boat. Thanks in advance 😀

Hi there are no water sports in pefkos, its a very small beach, you would have to travel up to Rhodes or falaraki, they are the more busy areas, lindos is nice but quiet you may be able to get a boat there but definitely no jet skis, you will get boats in Rhodes as well.
