The title of this review speaks volumes! I was so disappointed. The two members of staff were so busy with what they were working on before I entered the shop, I almost felt I was intruding on their time and in the end, I left. The only saving grace was that they gave me the name of an artist I had expressed an interest in. Even so, it was like pulling teeth I would not visit this gallery again.

Hello, we are very sorry that you had this experience. We do remember you and unfortunately you caught us at a difficult time. It is a family run business and one of the owners has been in hospital for a month receiving intensive cancer treatment. The two members of staff are his wife and daughter and we were in the middle of a complicated problem which was in addition to it being a difficult time personally. Again all we can do is apologise and say that it is usually a warm and welcoming environment at the gallery, which most of our reviewers have experienced. All the best, Tomintoul Gallery.

What a brilliant little place this is! I could have spent a fortune in here! Such lovely things. A great range of locally made crafts for sale. Only downside was that it is a tiny place and easily packed with folk!

Delightful little art gallery - this is the second time I have visited and I will come back again. Such a friendly couple running the place and ten out of ten for wrapping my little sculptures so carefully that they survived the long trip back to the States without a problem.
