It is good for local people who set up small tents on the banks and either cook their own food and enjoy the bonfire at night or carry food from home. I had no food with me and had to face the problem hence.

Paikhai, located 16 km north of the main town is a quietspot that is often frequented by locals and tourists for picnic purposes. Hence, it is common to witness a private gathering involving friends or loved ones in Paikhai. Travellers can reach this site from the main city via car, local bus or local taxi.

it is very far from main town,but nice place to go if you are a nature lover.nearby does not have good place to eat so better to have carry food for there.,

This is a pleasant picnic spot situated about 16km to the aizawl. The green field here attracts so many people for making fun and enjoyment. This is the best place for the nature lover people. This picnic spot is situated to the accessible location from different parts of town. The lush greenery all-around of this place provide great relief to the various tensions and stresses of this fast moving world. You can also played various sports neat to this picnic spot like football, cricket etc. You can enjoy here the cold breeze of air to sit under the thick trees.

Venture into Paikhai and Bung which are known to be very exciting tourist destinations of Mizoram. Both of them are the perfect places to spend some quality time with your loved ones. Their picture-perfect vistas, pollution free air and peaceful surroundings leave the tourists with treasured memories when they go back home. Bung is located around 16 km from Aizawl and Paikhai is also located nearby. Aizawl is a wonderful place in Mizoram which is located atop high hills. It is a versatile destination with several attractions such as different landscapes, hills, gushing streams, deep gorges and a wide variety of flora and fauna.
