Fairly average for a museum in Malaysia. Slightly chaotic presentation and very little explanatory information (although I note that some displays were temporary). The shop were very helpful when selling their products but no attempt at all was offered to help explain what was going on in the factory. Some sort of display board or guide would have added a lot to the visit.

There are many types of coffee you may found at Aun Tong. You are welcome to taste whichever the coffee you like before purchase. Their service is excellent, the workers even help to umbrella us to prevent getting wet in the raining day.

Currently the oldest operating coffee mill (at 89 years old) in Malaysia making it one of the landmarks in Taiping. It was formerly the villa for Chen Cuifen a.k.a “Forgotten Revolutionary Female” and “The First Revolution Parter” of Sun Yat Sen.
One of the reasons for its unique aroma is their signature charcoal grilled coffee. Within its walls do you not only find coffee but also old artefacts and lovely architecture.
Dropped by to taste some of their delicious coffees though we are not into history but did manage to take some lovely selfies!

A long history behind this place. Apart from modernization to keep up with efficiency, hardly any change to the vintage production of coffee, although it may not be my cup of espresso, it carries its own signature that my ancestors swear by for their breakfast beverage.

Antong Mill is more of a place to stop if you are looking to buy some local Ipoh coffee and products. Sure you could get coffee at the market or grocery stores but it's not the same quality buying directly from the mill.
The showroom staff's were super friendly and you get to sample all their coffee and products for free. I bought some durian coffee, and black coffee which was delicious and it does taste better then the grocery brand. As well as other local products as gifts for friends and family.

This small old workshop for coffee Browing is nice and interesting. The only spot I enjoyed to visit is this boring city. But the coffee is local though low quality. I didn't buy some. Just bought some biscuits haha

The mill is not an exciting or very interesting tourist destination. Despite being open, there was no one to explain the roasting process. We were able to sample several different kinds of coffee, but were underwhelmed by the experience.

There have a nice smell of roasted coffee when you arrive in Aun Tong. There is a store that sells their coffee and have free tasting of some coffee that you prefer to buy.

Located very conveniently near town and just a few minutes' drive from the train station. The factory was closed when we visited. Visitors were still allowed into the mill area to view a video of how coffee is being produced, with the raw materials stacked all around. Noticed coffee powder stored in big tins that is reminiscent of what we see in old local coffeeshops. The shop next to it had various types of coffees stored in containers which were made available for sampling. We were offered roti kok and biscuits to go with the free coffee sampling too! An enjoyable visit and the smell of roasted coffee still lingers...

We went there on the way to Penang. Free tasting of various coffee and subsequent buying. I learnt something about Malaysian coffee. Kopi (coffee) A= black coffee, Kopi B = some milk, Kopi C= a lot of milk, aka white coffee, Kopi O = for European taste. Coffee with milk = white coffee. Aun Tong is also historic because Dr. Sun Yat Sen stayed here while in exile.
