We're glad you enjoyed your visit to Claremont Wheresmebus, and you're right there is lots to do here! The wildlife do love to welcome our visitors, and we have something for families every school holiday, like the games you spotted on your visit. The Belvedere is owned by neighbouring Claremont Fan Court School and while there has been limited access for our visitors in the past, we cannot open it currently for safety reasons. We are also working on a project to share more of our fascinating history, better with visitors. Unfortunately, both these projects need significant resource and as a charity, we have to prioritise our conservation work, but we are hoping to complete these projects in the future. Hopefully you can join us on an Open Day when the Belvedere re-opens. I'll pass your positive comments to the cafe team too! Thank you.

Hi John K, we're pleased to hear that you found your stroll in the garden pleasant and that you enjoyed some lovely weather on the day of your visit. The garden may initially seem small, but it’s a 49 acre site with lots of different walking routes which offer views of Claremont house and across the lake. As a charity, our standard entry fee of £11 is vital income which goes towards our many staffing, conservation and maintenance costs, and helps us to look after Claremont for generations to come so we very much appreciate your support.

We are suffering from supply chain issues and staff shortages currently, which may be the reason you couldn't find enough vegetarian choices.
