Très chouette visite guidée du domaine avec une jeune fille qui parle un anglais parfait. Domaine familial, petit groupe, visite intéressante. Dégustation de 3 vins du domaine, excellents.

Very knowledgeable tour guide and very interesting story about the history of the chateau, plus some nice wine to taste.

Nous avons eu le mariage et la cérémonie de nos rêves à Saint Ahon ! Le domaine est magnifique et la salle a un charme unique avec la baie donnant sur le chai à barriques. Il y a beaucoup d'options d'arrangements du lieu possibles, et la plupart du matériel nécessaire est disponible en location sur place. L'équipe est chaleureuse, très disponible et déterminée à créer la meilleure expérience pour vous, et ils ont un réseau de prestataires de qualité.

Nous avons célébré notre mariage au château Saint-Ahon en Juillet 2023, pour lequel nous avons eu un coup de cœur pour son parc arboré et paisible ainsi que pour sa salle de réception en pierres apparentes avec vu sur le chai (qui est éclairé durant la soirée). Au-delà de la beauté de ce chaleureux domaine, nous avons été charmés par Alice (fille des propriétaires) qui, en plus de sa disponibilité, est de très bon conseil tout en restant à l’écoute des mariés. A découvrir sans attendre !

We booked a vineyard tour on the website and traveled for over an hour on two buses from Bordeaux only to learn that my booking had been cancelled.
They sent an email (which went to my junk folder) but didn't try to call even though you provide a telephone number when you make the booking.
To make up for it, we were offered a walk around the gardens (value of €5) and then a tasting of two wines, which were very boring.

Le château St Ahon est tenu par une famille chaleureuse et aux petits soins, tout cela dans un magnifique cadre ! C'est pour cela que nous l'avons choisi pour notre mariage.
Le jardin est très arboré et la salle de réception à taille humaine, en pierres apparentes avec vue sur le chai éclairé en soirée.
Un grand merci à Alice qui s'est occupé de nous depuis le début et a su nous conseiller également sur des partenaires locaux qu'elle connaissait personnellement (traiteur, fleurs, dj.. ).
Un petit château familial à découvrir sans hésiter !

Enjoyed the visit, tour and tasting
Chateau guide gave an excellent tour of vineyard and wine making process and cellar
Tasting was very good. Sad I could not buy wine as I was travelling home by air
Easy to travel to Chateau Saint Ahon from central Bordeaux using tram and bus.
I would recommend a trip to Chateau Saint Ahon to any visitors to Bordeaux

Leana and Alice were very kind hostesses that took us round the chateau to explain the process from the cultivation of the Grapes to the final production of wine in bottles. At the end we tasted 2 of their home grown wines which were very good
