Outstanding views east to the coast and west toward Yandina / Blackall Range. Steep climb (130m ascent from car park) on natural track but trail is clear; unsuitable for wheels of any sort. Signed as a 3hr return hike but we did it easily in half that time (including lookout stops). No facilities up top; picnic table at base; dogs permitted on leash. Only a small car park. We tacked this on to visit to Fairhill Nursery and a bit of country drive.

It’s about an hour and a half drive from Brisbane, easy to find. Only about a dozen car parks but off street parking. Relatively easy climb with one section of rocks a leg burner and will have your heart raising but other than that is easy. 3 viewing errors 2 have platforms. Not very crowded at all and dog friendly. It says a grade 3 hike, allow 3 hours and its dog friendly.
Once you get to the top there is some nice bush covered area between platforms. Well signed posted track so you won’t get lost

Mount Ninderry offers great views. You can see a sunset or look out towards Mount Coolum in the far distance. Trail is dog friendly. I feel it is an easier climb that Mount Coolum, however if you have knee issues you may find rock steps closer to summit a bit challenging. The good news is that people are very friendly and accommodating and the path is wide enough to let you take your time to reach the summit.

Mt Ninderry is a solitary mountain rising above the beautiful Maroochy River, about 5 kms for the township of Yandina, in the Sunshine Coast hinterland behind Coolum Beach. With the river, Mt Coolum, Mudjimba Island, Mt Ninderry has a special place in the dreamtime of the Traditional Owners, the Gubbi Gubbi people.
The mountain has an easy grade walking trail from the northern side starting at a carpark. It takes no more than 30 minutes. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash. The views once at the top are great to the sea, Mudjimba Is, SE to Mt Coolum (the worlds's second largest monolith) and then the river valley and Blackall Range.
It's really pleasant spot to appreciate the environment we have on the Sunny Coast. And best part, you sometimes have the place to yourself.

The walking track is uneven and it is steep but it isn't too hard a climb. I walked up in 25mins, spent 20mins walking around taking photos and appreciating the view and then 15mins back to the car.

What a great walk. My puppy had the best time. I’ve lived on the Sunshine Coast for 10 years & never knew that this walk was even here. It is so great that you can take your dog.
The views out to the coast & over the hinterlands are just breathtaking. The climb is moderate & easy to do but be prepared for a few steep sections. Reasonable fitness required.

Well lived on the coast for 22 years and never walked it.
Weather was ordinary but experience was good.
Not a really hard walk says three hours we walked at a reasonable pace and did it in an hour and a half including photo stops.
Will go back and do it again.
Is a runable track for a good level of fitness person

Not a lot of parking room, but just find a spot as near as you can to the trail head. Trail sand, leaf litter and uneven stone. But not too steep. Great views.

This is an enjoyable easy climb with some amazing views tonthe coast and inland from the other side - is quiet flat at the top and several viewing areas

A. Couple of older fit guys took 50 minutes to reach the top & 25 minutes to do the return. As against the 3 hours on the signs at the car park.the first 500 approx metres are an easy steady climb on a wide track. It then becomes steeper! Rockier, narrower & harder. Good shoes help. You need to watch where you are walking. The track gets rough. If you want to look at the view. Stop & do that then start walking again. As you get higher the track divides.one to the Eastern View & the other to the Western view. We kept walking to the top & then did the views on the return.

Is it possible to do it with a 8 months old baby im a carrier? Is there any sections that would be difficult to do with a baby?

Certainly if parent is above average or even average fitness it is fine for an 8 mth old. The walk is not steep or exposed anywhere. Lovely views at a number of points on top.

Hi, well we saw dogs on the track, and some of them were not even on a lead, so I would say yes that should be ok, but I didn't actually read the sign at the start of the walk.
