‪We went there on 16th February 2023 in the morning by 7 am. It is a good nature trail but could not spot any birds. Roughly it is 2 km one way walk. In fact one day earlier, during the boat ride through the canal, we could spot many birds (about 10 different species)‬

‪Nice paved path. Heard lots of birds - didn't see much but it was a lovely morning walk. Take mosquito repellent with you because of all the standing water.‬

‪No visible birds‬

‪Trail goes out and back, not circular. It is interesting to walk through a jungle and peak through to see the river, houseboats, homes, etc. Unfortunately the staff does not clean up after people who've left their soda bottles, candy wraps, etc. on the ground.
It is a nice walk otherwise. It is about 45 minutes. Walk to end of trail then walk back on same trail.‬

‪Nice walk but few birds‬

‪Had a nice hike but did not see many birds but we did hear some beyond our sight. Went Early in the morning to beat the heat and when it was supposed to be more likely to see birds. We were there in mid January which I guess is not a breeding month.‬

‪More of a nature walk rather than a bird-watching trail. In the breeding season, one can see nests and breeding birds from the watchtowers. One can also get to see waterbirds form the place where the trail meets the Vembanad Kayal (Lake).‬

‪No birds in November but a beautiful walk‬

‪A Beautiful walk through a wooded trail. However November is not the right season because the number of birds are less and they are probably up in the trees so you can hear them but not see them. The guards informed us before entering so that we didn't need to waste our time or money if we didn't want to. There are uneven tiles so you have to look down and walk.‬

‪The season is on march but still its a good experience to walk through the sanctuary.

There is an entry fee of 100 per head.

‪Probably we were there at the wrong time. We just saw couple of Woodpeckers and a Cormoran from a distance. But we had a good morning walk along the 1.5 km narrow trail.‬

‪Bird Sanctuary but no Birds‬

‪Was a waste of time and money but we had a good walk and enjoyed nature, had some coconut water from the boat parked along side the canal adjacent to walking path, Found a boatman who took us for a beautiful Morning sail to see Flowers and birds in the interior canals. ‬
