Nice place...worth visiting......try to reach the place by 6:30...thn you need to take tiket 130 each....God knows y....to view natural process..Sunset...we need to pay..tht too so heavily....BUT.....aftr paying u need to walk uphill..10 min...bo need to take horeses or ny help to reach.
Its fun doable walk....after reaching...find some suitable place from where you cn sit n njoy.....gud evening to spend there

Approx. 2 km from Nakki lake, sunset point is a must visit.
Entry fees = 132 rs. (increased by forest department)
From the entry gate you will have to walk for ~1 km to reach the sunset point. You can reach sunset point from entry gate by riding horse or baba gaadi also.
A must visit place when you are in Mount Abu.

The view of the sunset is good, but the infrastructure is very bad. proper seating and adequate seating arrangement is not available. The crowd just stands where ever it finds place. For the entry fee which is taken, the upkeep is not good.

Beautiful place at the peak. There is a entry ticket of Rs.85/- Horse ride is available from the ticket counter or you can walk for a kilometer

Do visit the sunset point in mount abu to get the mesmerising view. The best part about reaching the sunset point was a small cart manually pushed by locals. The downhill ride on the cart was a thrill. Do try that

It's like most of hill stations sunset point. Taxi will drop at the foot of the hill then a climb of about 500 meters, not steep. Good place for photography, a hike or both

As mentioned by others this place gets crowded over weekends so prefer to visit over weekday. 1 Km walk is slightly uphill but if one walks slowly it doesnt bother. Ticket per person was Rs 75. Horse ride is 150 and human cart is 100 per person. Once one reaches the sunset points one needs to find a seating place to enjoy relaxing view. There are few vendors selling corn, cold drinks, photo options etc.No washrooms around. Sunset is amazing if sky is clear. In march sunset time is around 6:20-6:30. Nakki lake is not visible from here. Reserve approx 2-3 hrs to visit this place.

You have to reach 1-1.5 hours before the sunset to grab your seat, just to wait for a 2 minute sunset. It is not worth the wait.
The seating area is limited, and the place is fully overcrowded (1k people in a 200 meter area).
Sunset time typically 6:30pm in summers.
You have to buy a ticket (~ Rs 100) and walk ~1 km stretch (25 mins walk) from ticket window to the bottom of sunset area.
This being a sunset area, naturally there will be climbing of stairs involved (5 mins stair climbing). There are horse or human cart that carry you from ticket window to the bottom of sunset area. From there, you still have to climb the 5 mins of stair ....no assistance to climb stair :) So plan it if travelling with kids or senior citizens
Tip: You can reach just 20 mins before the sunset, and watch the sun set standing (instead of coming early to grab a seat). Its ok even if you give this a miss. But don't forget Nakki Lake. You can read my review on Nakki lake

This is not a tour company, application considers this place as tour company I think, but it is not. Stunning place. Great to go there

The place to be in the evening if you are in Mount Abu. You have to walk quite a bit to reach the exact sunset point or you can also go on horseback or cart. The sunset is beautiful and the place becomes really crowded.

It is better to reach 15 minutes before sunset so as to get a vacant vantage place from where one can watch the sunset & take pictures without disturbance from other visitors. One can find out the sunset time from newspaper or the apps in phone.

The road to the sunset hill is on plains, with little elevation in few places. You would have to climb stairs in order to reach the hill from where sunset is viewed.
