Closed since when no idea. Locks were rusted and grass every where. So please remove your trip advisor board from there.

This is much more than a herbal garden. SPread over a huge parcel of land which was apparently recovered from wasteland, this is a well laid out work in progress of many different species of plants and trees and shrubs and herbs and all the rest of it, many with medicinal uses too. In addition there is a vast collection of very interesting sculptures and more made out of scrap and other waste material.
Inspired, rejuvenated and refreshed after a long day trekking forts and museums, this is what you must visit in Jhansi. Our cab driver was not aware of it and we had to place it on his smart-phone's map and once we were there he was like, wow, I got to get my family here for sure.
This is in a defence area and on the day of our visit there was no restriction on photography inside the premises but do try to use common sense in what you do. The people there are very polite but also very firm.
There is a very clean toilet on the premises. Squat style. Very clean. Keep it clean.

Its a local park, good for an evening stroll. It is located in cantt area & is operated by the army, hence restrictive visiting time. Also, since many roads leading upto the garden are closed for public use, it took a lot of time and effort to reach the garden. Best for locals only.

Jhansi Herbal Garden is a park with a jogging track, located in Janshi Cantonment area. It is maintained by Indian Army. The park has a good jogging track, which can be best used in the morning or evenings. However, it is not a tourist destination, unless you are into plants and herbs, which this place has in plenty.

Though a good place to take a stroll either early morning or late evening, these is nothing special about the garden. Further it is at a distance from other tourist attractions.

It's very rare to get such a well maintained garden admist city. Thanks to Indian Army for maintaining it so well.
You will get to almost all herbal plants in it. Very well maintained.

Situated inside the Cantt .Just another park sans the swings for kids. More of a walking area or jogging track. Lots of medicinal plants were grown but lack of water n food care has made them perish. Monsoons is a good season to go there. Lots of variety of roses. Nice fountain with frogs.

If your travelling in/around the jhansi region this place is a definite stop. Cant miss the the creations made outta mil scrap plus the overall ambience of the place , hundreds of herbs is jus soul refreshing. In addition theres a patriotic flavour in the air coz of valiant stories of army heroes. HIGHLY recommended.
