Nous avons fait un trek de 2 jours et une nuit dans la jungle et c'était formidable ! 😍
Nous étions accompagné de Dian et Ricky qui était au petits soins avec nous, vraiment agréables !
Nous avons put voir plus d'une dizaine d'orang-outans, des gibbons, plusieurs espèces de macaque, des oiseaux magnifiques et j'en passe !
A coté de ça les logements proposés offrent un cadre magnifique avec une superbe vue sur la jungle.
Aucune ombre au tableau 👏
Nous étions accompagné de Dian et Ricky qui était au petits soins avec nous, vraiment agréables !

Nous avons passé trois jours et deux nuits exceptionnels avec Didi et Erwan. C etait formidable !! Des guides au top. Nourriture excellente et à profusion. Super organisation. Merci pour tout

We did a 3 day/2 night Ethical Jungle Trek and it was wonderful!
Our group consisted of 6 people, which is an ideal size for such a tour. We encountered orangutans, Thomas Leaf monkeys, gibbons, macaques and many other animals. An amazing experience!
Our two tour guides Amso and Bima are very, very nice, friendly and helpful. They showed us so much on the way through the jungle and explained so many interesting things to us. They also prepared really delicious food for all of us in the middle of the jungle. It was also great that no plastic dishes etc. were used.
We had a lot of fun together with our group! We can absolutely recommend the jungle tour with Sumatra Orang Utan Explore! The bungalow and the restaurant too! The jungle trekking is an unforgettable experience. We are happy about this unique experience and we would do the Jungle Trek again, maybe even for a few days longer. We hope to come back one day.

My partner and I did the 3D/2N hike. We arrived with zero expectations and we left with the memory of a great experience. I would do it again and 5 or 7 days for the next time, if I have the opportunity. I thank our guides Tamben and Nico who did a great job. Personally, my goal was to get good photos of the animals and they helped me a lot. On the tour no plastic is used, we ate on leaves and all the waste goes back to the village. The distance with the animals is respected. The campsites are very clean. The food is very good, thank you jungle mama for cooking for us. The guides were very kind and how can I forget the rafting back to the village. 100% recommended.

My husband and I did a jungle trek of 3 days and 2 nights and it was absolutely amazing! We had the most wonderful guides, Muss and Reza who were so knowledgeable and made sure to always keep us smiling. Their enthusiasm was contagious and they made the experience even better. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to see several urangutans on our trek. The camps are in a beautiful location and you are taken care of extremely well. Everyone that is involved in the trek is absolutely wonderful and they always make sure that they take care of their beautiful environment and wildlife. I would absolutely recommend them and hope to come back one day!

We did a 4 days/3 nights trip with SOE. The trip was an amazing experience and surpassed all expectations. The encounters with the Orangutans were deeply moving moments. We were wonderfully looked after by our incredible team - Bob, Idriss and Samsul who made the trip such an unforgettable experience. Who would have expected a beautifully presented very tasty candlelit dinner under the stars accompanied by the sounds of the jungle! Thanks for sharing your knowledge, your insights and the respect for the magical jungle and all its inhabitants! Be sure to choose your trekking company carefully - we can totally recommend SOE!

A very well organized trekking company from begining to end from driver picking us up late at night to driving us to airport very very early in the morning.
Chose the 2 night 3 day trek into the jungle. IWe saw orangutans, white hand gibbons, rhinoceros hornbills, thomas leaf macques. The guides were very helpful not only locating the animls , they were respectful about that and they allowed time to enjoy then once we found them. They also provided us with organic soap to use in the river and packed up left over food scraps ( saw some other trekking companies that didn't respect that - the fruit scaps that is)
It was a long day about 6 hours treakking in very muddy steep parts with our backpacks but very well worth it if you want to see these wonderful animals in the wild.
Keep in mind this is the jungle so the accommodations are very basic
be ready to get dirty and very sweaty, don't expect running water or plumbing.
This was truely an adventure and would highly recommand if you love wildlife
and nature.

We did the one day ethical jungle trek and stayed at the Sumatran Orangutan Explore Guesthouse for two nights and had the most amazing time. I couldn’t recommend this trip enough. Dedi and Yacob (think this is the correct spelling) were fantastic tour guides and made the experience really fun whilst providing so much knowledge regarding orangutan’s, the Bukit Lawang Jungle and the company they work for. The food was excellent, there was plenty of support and the accommodation was great. Thank you so much to everyone at Sumatran Orangutan Explore for making this a memorable experience.

I spent 3 days days in the jungle and it was amazing ! We saw a lot of Orang-Outans and the guides Riki and Jaka were really nice ! We had a really great time ! I really recommend to book a tour

What an extraordinary experience!!!
Perfect organization, Sumatra Orangutan Explore has planned our transfer from the airport to our guest house. Our Guide HERI and his assistant ERWAN have formed a great team to accompany us in the jungle. They were very attentive with us and gave us many explanations.
The meals and fruit breaks were fantastic.
The return to rafting is simply incredible.
The guides were particularly sensitive to respect for animals and the environment. A truly ethical trek

Hello. I am looking into booking this tour with you. Is it possible to have a bit more information about it?
We are travelling with a 68 years old person and just wondering if this trek would be suitable for her or is it aimed to younger people? Also, is it 2D/1N or 3D/1N?? Would pick up and drop off form Medan be possible?
