Giving Balneário Camboriú the nickname of "Brazilian Dubai" is considering Dubai, an artificial city, without soul or director plan, only famous for petrodollars to stimulate the ostentation completely empty, as a place of fact attractive.
The balbúrdia of thin spigs, phalical projection of whom little has to offer also between the ears, without any planning jumps in the eyes of those who recognize aesthetic beauty in other modern and rich coastal cities, like Singapore and Melbourne.
The large curve of the asphalted bay is interrupted only at one point: the Almirante Tamandaré square. Along the avenue, many restaurants hunting-tourist (high price, mediocre service, bad food) and almost nothing from hotels or shops.
Already on the side of the beach, one kiosk after another renting chairs and parasols (60 reais the combo to 2) and impregnating the air, hair and clothes of the passers with the fat of the fried churros at the time, not to mention the horrible smell floating in the air.
A cycling belt helps in the best flow of those who walk and drivers usually respect the pedestrian lane. By the way, blitz are frequent on the street, better so!
The walk through the avenue whether by day or at night is mandatory for those who decided to go down to BC; yet, the fitting of the fat churros, dirty sand, the beach full of sewage with the ostentation of the "nouveau riche" of the city is sticky accurate: it is a perfect example of hypocrisy!

Avenue right, with numerous tall buildings, variety of restaurants and tents. It is well worth a walk or electric skate. Connect several places to visit in the city.

The city is very beautiful, but it sounds very artificial
The neighborhood is quiet, we took a bike ride along the waterfront (we rented it from GoMoov) and went to the Ferris wheel (which is close to the famous crooked street).
I liked the city, structured and clean, but I wouldn't go back

It was an incredible experience, being 50 meters away from the beach, going to Cristo at night, which was wonderful, several beautiful places that made you travel amid nature and heights

Definitely very pleasant. On one side the very long beach, on the other an endless series of clubs. Then a cycle path for lovers of this sport....
The tragedy is traveling along it by car or taxi, on busy days it's madness. you can go much quicker on foot.....but to leave the city starting from certain points you are forced to walk along it.

Vou conhecer Balneário em janeiro de 2019. Como os hotéis São caríssimos na alta temporada, pensei em alugar um imóvel. É melhor se hospedar no centro? Pois vi um imóvel muito bonito com preço ótimo na Barra norte. Será que fica inviável andar de carro para conhecer a cidade e as praias em janeiro? Ou vale a pena ficar nesse aconchegante imóvel e cruzar a cidade até centro e Barra sul que pelo que vi é onde tem a unipraias e barco pirata? Muito obrigada

Olá. Nem pense em dirigir em Balneário. De ponta a ponta tem um bondinho. Pode ficar em um lugar bem em conta q praia ou vc caminha ou vai de bondinho. E se divirta muito.

Raríssimos são os estacionamentos na Av. Atlântica, mas poderá optar pela Av. Brasil, que fica em paralelo àquela artéria turistica. O melhor é deixar o veículo no Hotel. Tudo é perto.

Elisana, são dois os principais transportes que passam pela av Atlântica: o Bondindinho e o Expressul. Você vai ver na calçada no lado do mar marcas azuis na ciclofaixa escrito: parada de ônibus. Os ônibus vão parar ali. Ao longo de toda a avenida é mais fácil pegar o Bondidinho (R$5). Para pegar o Expressul é mais fácil você olhar as rotas no site. (R$3,25... eu acho). Ok? O ônibus com vista panorâmica é mais caro, bem como o micro ônibus com ar condicionado. Bom passeio.
