A very good place to visit not going to take you a day to see it so not a cheap day out and it is very authentic. Don’t expect your normal “tourist “ attraction it is very much a working farm. Plenty of Alpacas to see you can buy aLARGE cup of food to feed them. Well worth the £1.50 normally elsewhere you would expect to get a small bag of food here you got a nice large cup. Some benches around the place for the “oldies” like us to have a rest as we were walking around would be nice (we did have somebody with us with a bad back and finds walking for any length of time difficult but if he can have a rest it helps). There is plenty of space for them so it would have been nice to be able to stop and have a rest. All in all well worth a visit if you like animals.

If visiting highly recommend walking the alpacas. Booking is recommended and is easy to do online. The cost is very reasonable & also includes farm entry. I also recommend feeding a variety of the animals you are told which ones you are able to feed on purchase. £1.50 for a huge cup of feed.
Our guide on our alpha walk was Mildred she was patient, knowledgeable and very obliging when it came to taking pictures and asking her questions. She gave us facts all the way round. Clearly knew all the animals and as individuals. Didn’t rush us at all, very pleasant zen like experience.
There is a cafe onsite. also can be used by non farm visitors nice range of food and drinks.
There is a small shop. Be prepared to pay a bit more for high quality goods lots of items made from alpha fleece/wool.
Variety of other animals/birds at the farm including goats, donkeys, horse, chickens and Guinea pigs. But as the name suggests highlight is the alpacas

For any animal lover this is a brilliant place. If you are able to do it I recommend the 'walk with an alpaca' experience which was well organised and informative; gets you up close to these adorable animals and helps to learn more about their fascinating quirks and personalities. The cafe was limited but adequate and above all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely day out. Great place to take little ones. Fed the baby lambs, saw the other animals and fed the alpacas & llamas. Recommended for Little ones :)

Visited with family.
My wife and daughter walked an Alpaca and thoroughly enjoyed it. The farm area is relatively small, but entry is cheap.
All the staff were incredibly friendly.
The cafe was nice, and again the staff were great. We were a little disappointed in the pizzas which were quite oily/sloppy, but the cake was amazing.
Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the Isle of Wight with family.

A great farm experience with plenty of opportunities to feed the animals. The goats in particular were like hoovers! Highly recommend an alpaca walk, the guide was excellent, answering all sorts of questions as we went round and got to know the Alpacas a little better. Great variety of pizzas in the café too.

Great little farm to look around. Various animals, all are really friendly and generous amount of feed to purchase for them. Good play park and cafe too.

Visited the farm yesterday with my mum as part of a holiday to the Isle of Wight to attend an alpaca walk & from start to finish, there was no disappointment whatsoever.
The alpaca walk was thoroughly enjoyable & I did not want it to end as the time went too quickly. I had the pleasure of walking the lovely Amadeus as I felt a little nervous about the experience beforehand & my mum was lucky enough to walk the brilliant Breeze. The walk leader, Mildred, was an angel from beginning to end, from assisting me with Amadeus when he became a little troublesome towards the walk finish to knowing an impressing range of facts about both alpacas & llamas; she is a true credit to the farm.
Following this, we were allowed to walk round the farm with a big pot of feed to give to the range of animals they had there & it was such a wholesome experience being at one with the alpacas, llamas & other animals on site. You can tell all of them are very well looked after as they all seemed so happy which was heartwarming to see. :)
If you are questioning whether to attend the farm & go on an alpaca walk, I say 1000% go for it; it was one of the best things I have ever done & one of the experiences I will never forget! Definitely one of my top highlights from my trip to the Isle of Wight & absolutely cannot wait to go back! :)

We had a wonderful time at the farm, walking our alpacas, Amadeus and Victor. Our walk around the farm was led by Mildred. She was so knowledgeable and an asset to the farm. It was obvious that all the animal are well cared for. Thank you for a great time. It was the highlight of our trip to the Isle of Wight.

My 11 year old daughter uses a small mobility scooter. Would she be able to do the short alpaca walk??
Thanks

Hi, the paths are grass, but quite even. I think if the wheels on her scooter are of average size everything would be ok.
Have fun, fantastic experience.

How much does it cost to visit?
TTx
Devizes, UK8 مساهمات
Hi Sue, from memory it is £6.50 adults & £4.50 children, the walk we went on was £19.50/40 minutes. There is a shorter walk that costs less. The cost of entry to the farm is included in the walk price. We did have a good discount the day we went because of the wet weather.
