Bezoek mooi voorbereid aan de hand van Tripadvisor en de eigen website van het museum. Ter plaatse stonden we echter voor een gesloten poort. Na tijdje wachten telefonisch contact opgenomen en bleek het museum dit jaar gesloten. Alle begrip voor de Covid-maatregelen maar een melding op voorhand, minimum op de website, zou leuk geweest zijn. Ook ter plaatse geen enkele signalisatie hieromtrent.

Il faut vraiment passer voir ce musée. D'abord, parcequ'il est entièrement privé et qu'il faut faire le max pour soutenir ces actions et ensuite parcequ'il est vraiment très beau.
Dans un espace assez large, vous avez de superbes uniformes, de très belles photos.
Question matériels, il n'y en a pas beaucoup, mais c'est le monsieur qui les a restaurés.
Ces matériels sont rares et méritent que l'on s'y attarde avec les explications en direct de ce monsieur fort passionnant.

Visted here in July 2018. We were given a very warm welcome, lots to see, if you speak French you will be able to chat to owner. Well worth a visit.

Agréable surprise que ce musée qui tend plus vers une collection personnelle que le propriétaire nous fait partager ! Toujours à l’affût pour nous expliquer les pièces exposées, il a effectué avec son épouse un travail de restauration impressionnant ! Au contraire d’un musée classique, celui ci est vivant et personnel !

An amazing private display in 5,000 sq ft including a V1 rocket rebuilt, and many original German and Allies vehicles well restored.
Only open for six months as the space is let out in the winter to pay for the space. Deserves many more visitors...............

Next to Chateau Gaillard and Les Andelys, very interesting break in this private museum unpretentious although very complete (Goliath, V1 bomb, weapons, paratroopers, etc.).
The owner welcomes you warmly and nicely guides you while remembering his life during the war when he was 8.
The fee (5 €) is much more reasonable than in several other places for a more interesting visit.
