Awesome diving and really well priced! The staff are awesome, Gemma is an absolute legend and super informative and knowledgeable dive instructor l. Good quality gear, great little facility. Would recommend to friends

Amazing course, great people. Really helpful and patient with everybody. Deffo recommend to anyone heading too magnetic island!

I recently completed an open water diver course here, with instructor Gemma Holland. Gemma is very good at what she does, the best dive instructor you could ever ask for. Friendly, knowledgable, professional and thorough, which makes it easy to be confident in yourself and have a great time. Looking forward to diving in with them again :)

Completed my open water cert here. Awesome shop, glad we went with pro dive magnetic as our course provider, Gemma Holland is an excellent teacher, her confidence and focus on safety made for an anxiety free experience. Will definitely be returning for next courses and feel lucky to have such a great shop so close.

Recently, I have completed my SSI Advanced Adventurer diving course with pro dive Magnetic Island. All of their staff members I had interactions with, are friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
Gemma in the shop, gave us fantastic advice about the course, and also Diving and snorkelling around Magnetic Island.
During my course, my Diving instructor Brendan, and his associates Sammie and Jenna was friendly but also professional. I was amazed how much knowledge they have. They also worked extremely hard to make my course very enjoyable. Big thank you for all of them!
I highly recommend Pro Dive and their services for everyone!

We have had a good experience with this dive centre. Used it for our one day dive trip to Museum of Underwater Art at GBR. The diving museum is small and will take you no longer then 10-15 minutes but the John Brewer Reef is next to it and you will end up diving there for your two dives. We also hired some stinger suits there to do some snorkelling around Magnetic Island.
Overall we had a good experience and a good day of diving. The crew was professional and looked after us well. We had two dive masters with us on the dive. The great weather helped a lot as you need to be aware that the trip is at least two hours one way on a boat. There is enough space on it and it has got a marine toilet which helps a lot. I can imagine however that in more rough conditions that trip can be uncomfortable.
Overall, I would recommend it to do that trip once you are on the island itself, not worth going specifically for it, but if you are there then it can be a great day out.
If you can combine it with Yongala wreck then it would be even better experience

Did the open water certification with prodive magnetic island. It was GREAT! Gemma and Jenna were both knowledgeable and everything you’d want to guide you through the introduction to scuba this course offers. They were cheerful, positive, clear and helpful. We felt supported every step of the way, which helped us be confident throughout as we quickly trusted their instruction and assistance. If you’re not sure, give them a ring to discuss, they’ll sort you out. Can’t wait to get back in the water! Thanks ladies.

Great experience doing my open water certification last weekend!! Gemma and Sebastian were awesome and made it a lot of fun :) Will definitely be back for some diving!!

Excellent course, all skills were explained clearly and were easy to understand and implement. Instructor was extremely friendly and make you feel totally comfortable both in and out of the water.
Had an amazing time while getting my open water license.

We had a trip out to the Great Barrier Reef with Prodive Magnetic Island on Friday 9/7/2022 with a group of divers and snorkel participants .
Before hand we had emailed Prodive a few times and their communication had good advice , was helpful and timely.
The crew were friendly, attentive and informative.
The boat left on time and the crew were personal, making sure they knew our needs and skill level. They fed us with fruit, wraps ,snacks and lollies which tasted great out on the ocean.
We had two times to have a snorkels/dive - the first was alright but the second dive/snorkel at Keepers Reef was really pretty. Lots of sea life and what you would expect the barrier reef to be. We saw a reef shark and turtle , lots of amazing fish and colourful coral. We snorkelled and could see clearly see everything we needed in the one metre water above the reef.
Be aware that it take 3 hours to go out to the reef and 2 and a half hours to return so a long time in the boat . I would suggest taking a couple of beach towels to stay warmer in winter and your own ‘keep cup ‘ as suggested.
I would highly recommend this business and the crew. They had it all down pat and it was thoroughly enjoyable . A great day out and well spent money . Thank you
