The bowling centre is no longer open it closed some time back and is going to be a warehouse soon they are converting it now

Lots to do for all ages .There is a bar and food can be purchased as well. Good parking facilities and a bus route to the complex as well. Everyone had a good time.

Lovely, friendly enjoyable evening
Can let your hair down and have a really good laugh with friends of all ages plus beef burgers tastes nice. The later on the evening you go the better

Well where do I start!!!! we arrived on 16th July for 2 games we were told our lane was number 16 avoid this lane as the balls kept getting stuck at the back of the pins the pins didn't reset half the time after the sixth time of fetching the engineer (JOE) he dissaper ed and turned his radio off I couldn't fault the manager and the other lady who was working they moved us to lane 7 and gave us 2 free games and free drinks for all in our party we finally enjoyed our night out don't think I'll be returning anytime soon 👹👹👹

I've given it a 2 star solely because it's cheap!
The whole unit is very run down!
The bowling experience was not great! Had to call engineers many times. Either not working, the skittles falling down on there own. The balls not registering people's actual bowls so yes not the greatest experience.
Then comes the games inside. Some games didn't take the new £1 coins and they didn't hold the old coins, so we were unable to use them. The pool table was broken and balls getting stuck and had to call the guys that work there again.
Finally to top it all the dance mats. Although they worked you couldn't hear the music! My sister who loves the dance mats had to give up on the machine as all she could hear was the bowling alleys musician the background ruining the complete experience and enjoyment.
Safe to say we have all agreed that we won't be returning again.
The standards have dropped every time we've been.
All in all if you want a cheap game of bowling this place is great but expect to be waiting around for engineers every time it breaks down! (Think we called 6-10 times in 2 games with 4 people!)

Have to agree to most reviews on here that this place is very tired and to be fair doesn't look like anything has changed or been cleaned in a very very long time.
Our game of bowling was fun and didn't have any problems with equipment.
Food was very enjoyable and came quite quickly
Drinks were good and price was fair
The girl on reception and the bar was friendly and helpful
This place definitely needs a fair few quid spending on it.if you don't mind roughing it to save a few quid then this place is fine
But if you want a clean environment,toilets with working lights then pay double and go elsewhere.
Shame as we would go more often if it was cleaner

This place is a total rip off poor facilities very dirty and useless staff. Pay more and go to Bentley bridge bowling please don't ruin a good night out by visiting this establishment. Lanes break down score boards don't work bowling balls have big chips in them. If you need the toilets please go outside and dig a hole or use their wall it is much cleaner than going inside. You have been warned please don't waste your money.

My son turned 13 and he has invited his friends over for some bowling. I show up there and the lanes are 40 years old, we didn't mind and just carried on. We went on our lane, set the games up and started to play. Within 45 seconds both lanes went off. We told the Lewis (one of the staff members) about the pr born and he went to the back to fix it. Lewis had to reset the game because it wouldn't work. It was annoying but we carried on and then it happened again. The mechanic went to the back and after 10 minutes fixed the lane but two people got strikes when they hadn't even bowled. We were then moved to another lane because they said these two are faulty. The same thing happened on the other two lanes. We then decided to get a refund and go home. We talk to the manager prince and he said it is 'company policy' that they couldn't give a refund. We asked why and just said it was policy and he had no power over it even though I paid in cash and my money was in the register just 5 meters away form me. We were there for 10 minutes arguing over the refund when prince said we have to go through the main office to get a refund. We asked for the number of the head office and we were given another blowing ally number who were ran by the same company. We had to email the head office about it so we asked prince to write on the recite why we left and why we want a refund. He refused and said that he isn't going to do that but didn't give a valid reason. They have ruined my sons birthday and ruined our evening. The kids who came won't be happy and therefore their parents won't be happy and they will blame me. This could lead to future events where they may not want to go to my sons house because his dad goes to crap places. This has been the worst bowling experience of my life and I am shocked. I have never been so disgusted by a bowling all. The lanes were uneven, the wood was older than me (46) and the balls were terrible. There was holes in the balls and scratches and the holes you put your fingers in were too small or too big. I highly recommend star city bowling instead. There they have good lanes, balls and atmosphere. The atmosphere at MFA is terrible and is outdated. The system is older than my son and we could take four shots without it shutting down or not clear the pins. Prince, the manager, tried to move us for a third time and said he would throw in some slushes even tho I have paid £60 for this and I didn't even take two shots. This place is terrible and you should never go there. There are words I have refrained from using because they are inappropriate even though they describe this place perfectly. I will never go to this place again and I now have to waste my time trying to get my £60 back from the head office. I AM FURIOUS and will never go back there.

Brought my kids here and was left disappointed, drunk people swearing. Terrible food, dirty toilets. Poor staffing levels.
