This place 12KM from payyanur town and 45KM from Kannur Airport is a bit of hidden gem. The set up is unique with 300M high ezhimala hill on the background.

The beach runs alongside the Indian Naval Academy . Nice clean beach. Access can be from the front which is far off from INA. You would hardly find any visitors there and serves quite like a personal beach. Can go from shallow to deep sea in quite a shorter distance when you go inside the sea.

Good for relaxation and enjoyment.Very close to naval base.Good view of sunset.But so crowded.Good to visit in the late hours

This beach is less known to travellers so has less crowd. We got to know about this beach from local guys. Its little away from the city takes about an hour and half to reach but is must visit who needs clam near beach

Nothing in Ezhimala literally except Naval base! Believe me, I hav wasted so much time by gng there n disappointed a lot! It's NOT FR FAMILY. Nor u can enjoy n relax in the beach.except for a few pics, ntg worth! Waste of time, as it's only for Navel academy!

A lesser known beach near the coast, you can enjoy comfortably here and also take a swim across the waters.

A beautiful beach where a river flows into the arabian sea. Good place to spot birds. Was quite empty when we visited on Sunday Late afternoon.

Ezhimala beach is a great place to be. A lot of families go there to spend some great time. The sunset view is splendid. Calm and neat beach.

beach is very good now only the pollution is starting. but cannot explore the entire beach as its secured area

u can see the indian naval academy from the beach which is such a proud feeling... also on the beach near the academy we found lots of mussels there... very nice to see and it is rocky so u can expect quiet pounds of waves in the front itself...
