The favourite part is this beautiful temple is made on top of the hill From where you can see all the mountains clearly , temple is beautiful made with white marble and it has its own shining in those mountains ♥️

a place of worship. very clean temple situated on hilltop. have free parking space in premises. nice surrounding view of hills from top.

This is my second visit to the temple and it is amazing every time one goes here. The views are magnificent .There is tranquility about the place and one wants to linger a lit longer.
Of course, from every corner the views are worth capturing and that too takes time. The temple is surrounded by a garden and has lovely flowers.
The toilets are under construction and in rather a corner of the temple. The road to temple is quite good and passes through rich deodar forest.
There were handful people around so its not crowded and one can have nice family time here.

Temple looks so beautiful in white colour when seen from a distance. It's on a mountain cliff. The best thing about the place is cleanliness and maintenance of the place. Temple has ample parking space. Easily accessible with your vehicle. Good place to spend some quality time.

Great views, clean temple and do go if you are around Chail area . It was not crowded and they have done a good job of keeping it clean

The temple is at the hilltop. What an amazing view from there.

Surreal experience.... Very peaceful, quiet and calm... The temple in itself had a very soothing experience about it.
Not to forget the 360 degree view one can get from the temple - extremely scenic, to say the least!

A quaint place! Right from the climb towards the temple to the actual point, this place is surprisingly welcoming. The entire drive towards the temple is a steep climb with deep, dense forests around. The most scenic path that one can ever tread on. It probably is not a very well-known tourist point yet so is not oozing with people all over. The temple sits majestically on the highest hill. Some mind-blowing shots can be captured from the temple premises as well as the approach road. The beauty of nature and human skill, together surpass the expectation. It seems as if the temple has been modelled, structured, and simply placed carefully on the hilltop! It is well maintained with beautiful gardens and spotlessly clean courtyards. The absence of maddening crowds, commercial centers, tea/coffee shops, and prasad items; make this place all the more inviting. If you are the kind who can appreciate, relax and praise the might and beauty of nature then this would be a 'forever favourite' for you!

This place is just mindblowing! Thank god we read a travelogue on an obscure blog and decided to go here. Its probably the best part of Chail. The views are stunning, the peace within the temple is great.
The most interesting thing about the temple are the shivalingas made of 5 different materials - metal, mercury, glass, crystal, etc.
The day we went, there were some Himachali folk hymns playing at the temple and it was very soothing.
The tourists also conduct themselves in a very orderly fashion, and its a pleasure to be here.

Is it snowing now in Chail ? We are planning to visit between 17th and 19th jan , would it be snowing ? My daughter is excited to see snowfall . Is it better to be in Chail than Shimla for Snow ?

Hi! I'm visiting Chail this New Year's eve. We are driving down. So, can we drive down to this temple by ourselves? And how long would it take from main Chail to this temple? And what is the best time of the day to go and come back? I'm asking because I don't have much time in hand, like we would reach Chail on Saturday late afternoon, and then have to leave by Monday afternoon. Pls suggest!

Hello richa,
It's quite doable and I'll ask you to cover in the day light as road is not good enough as there were some patches and some steep hill so be careful while driving.
As I did through bullet so it's not so hard.But it's quite fun and you really feel at the top once you reach there.
Its around half n hour with your vehicle max.

You can hire a car from the hotel for site seeing @ 800-1000 INR , and it will take you to all places including Kali ka Tibba , best time to go around 4-5 if you really want to see sunset from height.

Chail is very near to kandaghat .If you have time & money + love for nature then you must syay 1 or 2 days @ chail. bhag-dhor mean no enjoy.

Taxis are available from Kandaghat as well as Chail Market. Though, Kali Ka Tikka is at the highest peak, it is not far away from Chail market. It is only about 8/9 Kms fromn the market. You can yourself drive. No problem. I am 69 and drive myself. 360 Degree views from Kali Ka Tikka are stunning. Do visit.
