“‪Nice and peaceful place to spend some time‬”

‪أنا أتفق مع الآخرين أن رسم دخول 100 روبية ليس هناك ما يبرر. العديد من المقيمين محدودة فقط. ولكن لا يزال من جميل وهادئ لقضاء مع العائلة. تشتهر chail الجمال الطبيعي مساحة الغابات. لا يوجد العديد من الأماكن التي يمكن زيارتها في chail بأمان مع العائلة. هذا المكان هو صندوق الأمانات، grenary حول المكان. الكثير من القرود أيضاً ولكن لا لا ضرر.‬

‪رسم الدخول لكل شخص 100 / - RS ولا يوجد شيء. لا يمكن زيارة مكتب الاستقبال، انظر بيانو وأريكة. . . لا يستحق إنفاق هذا الكثير من المال. قصر قد تم تحويله إلى فندق تجاري، يمكن أن تكون الغرف تم حجزه على الإنترنت للإقامة.‬

‪The palace is average‬

‪Since the palace is converted into Hotel it is average and access to the public is limited. The garden is well maintained but not worth the effort to travel .‬

‪It deserves a visit!‬

‪I have been visiting the palace since 80s and it is of course ravaged by time. It doesn't help that its govt property with typical apathy towards maintaince.
All said and done ,one must visit it if one is going to Chail. The story behind the place is is interesting and the views are lovely. The lawns are well maintained. The entry fee is 100 Rs which allows you access inside few areas. Don't just zip in your vehicle to main gate and exit from there. Find little time to walk down and soak in the cool air of the deodars.
Also, remember the HP govt initiative of Nai-r aahein- Nai- manzilein and explore less known places‬

‪Good place to visit if you are in Chail‬

‪This is a good, clean and well maintained place. You can definitely do this if you are in Chail. I don't think you need to plan a special visit to the place only to see the palace. Chail itself is a good and must see place. This place adds value to the beauty of Chail.‬

‪Unexpectedly Hyped‬

‪Unfortunately this place is over hyped and only place in chail. A normal open ground where you can have a twist of touge on a overpriced menu. Palace looks decebt from outside but for common public, only an entrance and a lobby is accessible. Overall average, but only place in chail to visit ‬

‪Don’t waste time to go there .‬

‪Don’t waste time and money to go there. Nothing to see.. it’s a hotel with marriage garden . Entry fees 100rs per person..‬

‪If you have seen other palaces, this one doesn't even look like a palace. There is nothing much to see in the palace. There is a garden outside the palace and a restaurant inside the palace. The paintings on the walls and the mirrors inside the palace are good. There was a billiards room but it was locked. If you are short of time, this place can be skipped.‬

‪Nice One Day Vacation Option‬

‪The property belongs to erstwhile Maharaja Patiala and is currently being looked after by Himachal Govt.
The rooms are big and comfortable. Ambiance is cozy and nice to relax solo or with friends. Staff is helping and always ready to serve. We stayed in Rajkumari Room which has a working fireplace inside as well though we didnt use it. Food quality i would rate as Moderate. Limited options for breakfast. Property is old so is its furniture. Ideal for a plan for single day detour to Shimla only.

Property has a potential to be a 5 star resort if operated with more care, better house keeping, upgradation of furniture and a new revamped restaurant. Big Ask but considering the space and royal history it has, can be converted into big commercial success.‬
