Another “ Brit bar” but this time in Albir,
Watching a so called “Jam night “ which me and my family had been looking forward to all week.

It seems the house band, mainly ran by a man which I can only presume to be the bar owner as he played lead guitar on every song for 3 hours then proceeded to attack with very disgusting expletives to some tourists , we left immediately
I’m shocked stay away it’s basically Benidorm but in albir !!!‬

‪Good sunday lunch with friendly staff‬

‪Popped in for sunday lunch, great welcome off the staff. We had a steak starter andalothough i love steak i did say to waitress there was way to much steak on it for a strater. Fine for me but mrs couldnt eat it and table over said the same to all the people on there table. We had beef and pork for the sunday lunch, beef was a bit well done and dry for my taste but in general it was very nice

‪Great bar and bistro.
Good value, tasty breakfasts and better than average pub grub at very reasonable prices.
Lovely atmosphere whatever time of day you go, a real place to chill and watch the world go by.
The staff are its real treasure though...
Really friendly and accomodating, nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel welcome and that your custom is valued.....a really great advert for the place.
A special thankyou to Mateo, who not only took time to chat and let me try wines to see if I would like them....but for putting up with my drunken warbling on karaoke night after too many vino collapso's ...with a smile.
Don't walk past here, go in and see for yourself how good this little place is.‬

‪The Church food is absolutely amazing and so well priced it is hard to try elsewhere when you hit the jackpot. We have eaten here several times and never once been less than impressed and my hubby is very fussy!‬

‪Fantastic food, highly recommend. Just on the high street of Albir. Great if you’re looking for “pub grub” style food, but done a lot more classier than a normal generic pub in the U.K. ‬

‪Best Sunday Roast‬

‪Just had a sunday roast here.
Beautifully presented Arancini starter. Pre- ordered the beef wellington and it was magnificent. Nice side of fresh veg and served with a huge Yorkshire pudding with mash, stuffing and roasties.
Washed down with a perfect pint of Guinness what more could you want for a sunday afternoon.
Good atmosphere, very friendly staff (especially "Tracey" with her dry Burnley sense of humour) a great chef too.
Great value for a quality meal. ‬

‪What an amazing day we had here at The Church
Sunday lunch was the best we have had in Benidorm / Albir
Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection
The staff was polite and very helpfull we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived.
Gret food topped off with great entertainment (Jamie Somers The Greatest Showman )
We will definitely be going back again.‬

‪Amazing Sunday Roast 🍲‬

‪We had the most delicious Sunday lunch here this week. We both had the lightly curried parsnip soup which was so tasty. It was served with crusty bread, trying to be healthy I thought I would leave the bread but this was impossible as it was warm, served with butter 🧈 and tasted homemade, just gorgeous! I then had the roast beef and hubby had the roast lamb. Bother we’re served with lovely homemade gravy, roast and mashed potatoes and a separate bowl of veggies, carrots 🥕 broccoli 🥦 cabbage 🥬 and cauliflower cheese. No room for dessert although those we saw looked good. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, service was friendly and attentive at all times. Would highly recommend and also advise booking ahead as we did. Thanks guys, see you next time. 🙏🏻‬
