‪Candi ini terletak di daerah terpencil di kaki gunung Sumbing. Pemandangannya sangat indah sekali. Perjalanan dari tempat parkir menuju candinya ada 2 jalan, atas dan bawah, ambillah jalan bawah dulu menuju ke candi, baru pulangnya lewat jalan atas. Persawahannya bagus sekali, candinya kecil tapi memikat. Nikmati udara yang masih segar selama perjalanan...‬

‪这是一座小庙。精彩之处，在于陡步走过梯田，各种谷物就在身边。稻米，龙眼，香蕉，芋头，竹子，咖啡，木薯，蕃薯，棕榈，等等等等等等。。。。。
延途会遇上村民，他们都很友善，会和陌生人打招呼。
当爬上一个小坡道后，Seligriyo神庙就在眼前。‬

‪Peaceful and serene surrounding of a local Java village‬

‪If you have more time, this is another site which optional to visit, take about an hour or less to explore and hike along the rich country side - passing lots of paddy field, children playing football, climbing the tamarind tree... if you lucky may stumble some water buffalo too. Recommend for those who seek and wants to know the life hood of local village and highest point is restore old temple. The view overlooking the rolling hills and terrace of rice field is very captivating.‬

‪En templo en construcción, el camino precioso ‬

‪Si pagas 40K te llevan y traen en moto, si no quieres andarlo.
Yo lo caminé y no me arrepiento, es tranquilo, casi nadie o nadie y eso lo aprecio mucho.
Me crucé con gente cargada de leña y sonríen y son encantadores.
Vi una cigarra enorme que si voy en moto no la veo, y lagartos. Vi gente trajinando en los cultivos.
Y ya para finalizar mi experiencia, oí música y me puse a bailar y al final acabé con mi guía invitada a la boda, fue entrañable.

‪Its all about the walk‬

‪As others have said, this small but fine temple is under reconstruction, but the walk and climb through the village and fields of rice, chilies, sweet potatoes plus forest gardens (growing cloves, jack fruit) is exquisite. A group of men were training their racing pigeons in the village when we passed. Fascinating.‬

‪Riceterace sangat luas..
perpaduan bukit lembah gemericik aliran sungai burung burung dan sawah. merasa kembali kekehidupan lampau..
aman sejuk. sampai lupa waktu untuk tinggal ditengah tengah sawah..

hanya saja pada saat disana, Puranya sedang Perbaikan total.. 😅😶‬

‪under renovation‬

‪My 5 star goes to the rice fields on the way. The temple itself is under renovation at the moment but it is still worth a visit if you want to see rural life on the rice fields and in the village. Lovely area!‬

‪Serene, peaceful‬

‪Came to visit this well hidden gem. Totally absorbed by the beauty of this place. Trekked through the padi fields and interact with the friendly locals. It is totally amazing! Love this place. The temple is under reconstruction but it is a really must see place in Borobudur region. ‬

‪寺院でなく景観を楽しむのに良い‬

‪ジョグジャカルタの郊外にある寺院。寺院そのものはわざわざ足を伸ばすほどではないですが、周囲の景観が素晴らしい。
ライステラスとそこで働く人々を眺め、その背後にムラピ山を望みながら散策する時間はとても充実し楽しかったです。‬

‪No temple but amazing rice terraces walk‬

‪The Selogriyo temple (small Hindu temple) is currently under reconstruction (totally taken apart and rebuilt), but the walk up there is wonderful, with sprawling terraces similar to those in Bali, yet far less crowded! The walk is gentle in terms of slope but quite far (30 mins each way).‬
