This is all fraud...dont get into their scam..same medicines are available at much reasonable price outside. They will lure u by saying they r selling authentic meds..i bought tonic for cholestrol and after taking it for 2 months..my blood report mentioned cholestrol levels were even higher

Not worth visiting . Spice garden has nothing to show . Total commercial activity for selling their Ayurvedic preparations & outsource ayurvedic medicines .

Amazing place and very funny knowledgeable guide. At the end of the walk there is a well stocked shop to buy spices at reasonable prices

We made a stop here to buy spices on our way back to the coast from Wayanad. Its not really clear on arrival where to go, and we weren't sure if we could go in without a guide, or if we should pay or tip the guide who showed us round. Im not sure if the bit we saw was just a preamble to the shop...maybe they have full gardens elsewhere, but it was quite a brief walk, showing an example of each plant, rather than the lush tropical gardens I expected.
Nonetheless the guide was knowledgeable, declined the offered tip but then went on to serve us in the shop, so maybe they're on commission?
The spices we bought there were the best of all the ones we bought in Kerala.
Recommended for a spice buying pit stop.

We bought so many things here!!

First those said you to take entry ticket but I cannot understand for what they are charge? If you said them to go then give you go inside with out ticket. If you want to show spice plant then they also take charge for guid.
Their was a nothing to show in spice garden all are marketing of those various products.
Don't buy any product from here. All product and spices have almost double rate. If you want to buy spices then buy from Thekkady market you got in half price.

Good to visit for knowledge on spices and medicinal plants. The guides are informative hence can easily manipulate visitors into believing something is true when it isn't. So watch out before you enter the store to make a purchase as the staff are good at acting friendly.
Suggest to grasp the information and make purchases market side.

They gives very good info about spices in gardens ,but they sell their spices products at very high prices as compared to thekkady spice market.
i will suggest only visit spice garden here but dont buy anything here.

Guides who work in this place are super informative, they also showed great hospitality.

Is there any side effect of Dhanyakathi, I bought from Periyar Spice & Ayurvedic Garden last month. I generally have stomach upset after I take this medicine. I do not know, if it is because of this medicine or something else. Thanks.
no such side effects ...just take 10 ml morning and night 10 minutes before food
