Just not what we were looking for sadly I think some people were happy with it though. Bit cold on the day we visited so found it harder to concentrate. Very hard to keep it warm.

We called at the village pantry for breakfast we havnt had a breakfast that good in years amazing staff and very friendly and the food was excellent couldn't ask for better service, its a definite must try ,we will definitely be going again.

Nice little place to look around hopefully one day will eat in cafe soon and try to eat there soon see you alll soon hopefully

Our first visit after eating in the Blue Anchor. Like a smaller version of Bygone times with numerous rooms. Lovely selection of grandfather clocks. Nice place for a walk and browse

We were in the area and we noticed this antique centre as we were driving past. It is quite a small antique centre and it probably wouldn’t be worth going out of your way to visit. On the day we visited the tea rooms were not open as advertised due to staff shortages.

Visited cafe before, very nice. Lots of nice stuff but also expensive junk. My daughter spotted an unpriced item she really liked. It was unbranded, had a crack in the bottom and was very dusty. It was obviously a cheap thing, but my daughter has quirky tastes and loved it, so we decided to ask the price. A phone call had to be made re the price ( we had prior warning that this was a greedy man) and were staggered to hear he wanted £65 for it! We were disgusted by the blatant avarice of this person for such a cheaply made item, I doubt it would fetch £2 in a charity shop! I voiced my opinion that as far as we were concerned he could keep it for another 20 years, which I'm sure he'll have to at that price. Disgusted and disappointed, could not buy from such a person again with any confidence whatsoever. Wouldn't recommend going there if you want to pay a fair price. A place to be avoided at all costs 🤬

With customer parking at the rear of the premises, which are so much bigger than the deceptive roadside appearance, this place is crammed with all things ancient; and some not quite so but which nevertheless will provoke some feelings of nostalgia.
We are not sure if the yellow arrows on the floor are a result of Covid social distancing recommendations , but it is as well to follow them in order to find ones way successfully around the myriad or rooms making up the place.
Be around on the hour when some of the many ornate clocks commence their chime.
Wonder at the workmanship in some of the enormous pieces of furniture, and be delighted when coming across something which will provoke you to say "oh look, my gran had one like that".
Whether you are looking for a genuine antique piece of furniture, or simply a few saucers to replace those broken from your favourite tea set; the chances are that you might find it here.

Wonderful food and super friendly service.Breakfasts are amazing with great veggie options too.Simons pies are a total delight! Michelle is a lovely hostess.Will be back very soon to work my way through the menu!

Shop fine, cafe serves a lot less and not as shown on facebook etc
Very disappointing breakfast. Sausage nice, standard frozen hash brown, then it goes downhill, small bacon basically just a medallion, small beans in a tiny pot not even a ramekin size, the smallest poached egg i have ever seen, wasn’t even offered fried or scrambled, half a small tomato, half a mushroom (HALF!!!), half a piece of toast, ordered a portion of extra toast, half of one slice again, and not 2 slices with no jam or anything as described on the menu!!!! So ended up with one slice all together!!!!this was £9.50 for breakfast and £1.50 for toast! £11 for what was a meal that didn’t even cover the middle of the plate let alone meet the edges!!!! Looked nothing like their photo I have attached their picture here to show the breakfast as it should have come, and its not the large version as only one sausage! Was put out at time, as very expensive for what you got, but thought to myst be normal, until I checked here online!!!! Really unhappy as feel ripped off, would place this in comparison to boathouse in rufford £10 for the same with drink included, or bill rimmers in southport at about £5 with drink included, but smaller breakfast without tea or coffee as others do at £11!!!! Used to go when in banks and got a lot more.....never again and will warn people off them.

Visited here on a cold n wet August day. It’s nice , I went during the week as I suspected that it wouldn’t be busy, thankfully I was right and that allowed me to wander around, following the social distancing rules , unhindered. Some lovely stuff here and well worth the visit. Chuffed with my purchase.
You should go as it’s well laid out, good items on display and very friendly staff.
