360 degree views from this historic pa site, mostly across the harbours and out to the ocean. Well worth the 10 minute walk from the carpark, Terraces evident, easy to imagine how the pa might have been.

A not too strenuous walk to spectacular 360 degree views, including the pa site you are on. Interesting history .

Lovely walk to the historic pa site. Definitely was an excellent site for a pa, views for miles in all directions. Really enjoyed learning the history of the area and the significance of the pa. Great to see native planting happening.

The views were amazing and gave a 360 degree view over Coppers Beach/Mangonui.

I think we underestimate our local historical sites. This one is easy to get to and well worth the visit. Its an easy walk to the top and really interesting. Also once you get to the top there is an amazing 360 degree view of the area, absolutely amazing. The best bit though was the Pa itself, you really got a good idea of how the iwi lived and occupied this area.

This was a very enjoyable area to walk around and enjoy the lovely landscape with all its native trees. Well worth a visit.

Yes, do this! It takes about 20 minutes from the car park to get to the triangular point and once there the views, in all directions, are spectacular.
We climbed the hill in the late afternoon, around 17:00, and the light was amazing. Well worth the climb.

Incredible 360 degree view of the ocean and landscape. Short and easy walk from the carpark. (Slight incline so it may be challenging if your balance isnt good). Sadly not wheelchair accessible.

The most stunning views of the Doubtless Bay area. Great photo opportunities. Short climb to the top of the pa site from the car park. A must to see.

Really nice to get a perspective of the area from up high. It is an easy walk if you are of average fitness to the start of the track and then it is a little steep so you need to be sure of foot. Worth the look and only a few minutes from town.
