Took a walk doesn’t this street for the third time - there is always something new to see and experience.

What a great place to shop for pearls! You can choose your strings of pearls and have your own necklaces, bracelets or anything made to suit your needs. They ‘knot on the spot’ so no worries about knotting the pearls. We visited some stalls in the middle and some shops on the outside. Shop owner Jenny from number 17 was extremely helpful and even organized transport back into Suzhou town.

A really nice place to walk around from one end to the other. Lots of small shops selling souvenirs, pastries, sweets, delicacies, food & silks. Restaurants lined the streets.

The Confucius Temple has great stories to tell. You can drop tokens in the pond & make a wish ‘relating to studies’! PASS WITH FLYING COLORS!

As the weather was cool with lots of sunlight, tourists will take a ride in the river boats for sightseeing. Lots of people gathered at the bridge to do selfies.

We bought some nice cookies from the stretch of shops. There are others selling Nanjing delicacies - savoury & sweets ones.

We had lunch at one of the restaurants. Generally, they are pretty clean & bright. The one we had was air conditioned. It was beautifully decorated. It was selling dumplings, noodle soups, rice & others. We only liked the dumplings noodle soup...the staff helped with our order as we specifically wanted the type of noodles with chicken soup, another with mushrooms and dumplings with crab roe! Delicious!

It was a pleasant visit & I recommend you to spend a bit of time there.

Gigantic shopping Centre consisting of East and west wing. Can find both local and international brands here. This place is so big that we kind of lost all sense of direction as We wander around. There’s an ice skating ring here as well.

Be sure to go out to the sky terrace ( cannot remember whether it is the East or west wing) to take a photo of the Da Ku Dang - which literally Translates to Big Trousers.

Learned about silk and got to see masters at work. Their work is incredible, especially the double sided pieces. Lots to buy.
I think it’s not necessarily the best deal.

This mall is the best in Nantong ! I spend some time in this mall and I think has everything! The auchan is on the lowest floor and then you can go for shopping and eating and then at the movies! On the auchan level you can cross to the other mall.
    Good Chinese restaurant

It's an amazing place with Prada, Chanel, Burberry, etc., etc., all the biggest names in fashion with retail franchises, one beside the other. It's new and it's popular. The parking lot was full and the overflow parking lot across the street was full and cars were parked everywhere possible nearby. The shopping village wasn't crowded, though, because it's so big. It's called an Outlet mall but in this case Outlet does not mean low prices, as it does in the USA, so don't expect any bargains. You can expect one famous name after another and the prices that usually go with those names.

A great big bookstore with thousands of books, including a few in English, with a coffee shop inside, in Nanjing, and the best one I've seen in China. They took over an old parking lot, underground. Three big crosses decorate the place along with posters of Garcia Marquez, Borges, John Lennon, et cetera, with songs by Gordon Lightfoot playing in the background. Try the salmon hot dog! There are lots of old books, in English, used for decor, as well as some new ones for sale. There's also a small stage for author readings, surrounded by comfy seats for an audience of around 50. There are more books with English and Chinese than just English but most of the books are in Chinese. Cool hang-out. Hope they franchise like Starbucks!

I had a day trip to the wedding Street Suzhou by fast train. We reach Suzhou railway station very fast but at the station, non taxi driver was ready to take us there or charging 150+yuan. No body could help us because of language problem. At last we took the bus. The driver could understand only Tiger
hill. He dropped us two kilometer from tiger hill, when we reached there, we were told the tiger hill wedding street is another side and you need a taxi to go there.Luckily the Girl new English and she called for taxi. Finally we reached wedding street and found all deserted. Only few shops were open. It was like Ghost street. After for some time we took a taxi (without meter) and came back to station without buying any thing.

Surprised to find such a big mall here. Perhaps it's to cater to the crowds who visit the Dinosaur Park that is a few km away.

This mall is huge and has a lot to offer. There is even a Walmart in the basement. Food options are a plenty, especially on level 4. There is also an iMax theater in this complex.

If you plan to visit at meal time, then just be forewarned that it will be very crowded.

During our stay at Holiday Inn hotel which is situated next to the shopping mall, we were delighted to discover the varied Chinese foods available at the food court. We enjoyed visiting the BHG supermarket which is situated in the lower ground floor. The huge variety of foodstuff available at the supermarket was great. The mall has many shops but prices are usually expensive.

I found this shopping mall by accident just exploring the city. It’s like being in a can packed with merchants on all sides. It goes on for blocks! Like any merchant in these stalls, one must bargain fiercely as their starting price is usually ridiculously high. Just offer an equally ridiculous low price and don’t be afraid to walk away if they reject it. Most items are fake, but that’s ok as long as you know it.
Lots of clothes, electronics, gifts etc.
It’s worth a look for fun as it’s an exciting venue and a bit different from the average mall.
