This newly remodeled Hotel is amazing to say the least. The lobby is modern and they paid attention to every detail when it was remodeled. The support staff they had were beyond helpful and bi lingual. They helped me book restaurants and gave me advice on what to do and what to see in Hakuba. My room was perfect. The onsen was glamorous and I spent so much time in there. Even the ski room was first class. The Clubhouse served some of the best food in the valley. The new restaurant is out of this world and is a steal for its price point. I am definitely coming back with my friends!!! I highly recommend staying here.

Went there over the weekend for a ski trip with the boys.. The newly refurbished hotel was neat, with slick designs and a super relaxing bar area. The restaurant serving a wide selection of breakfasts was a great way to kick off the day. The rooms are very nice and spacious that are also very functional in the layout.. The Hotel is ideally located right in the center of town. Overall the best thing i liked was the friendly ,professional service of the staff. and i would have to say the in house Onsen! Highly recommend The Happo to any one thinking of going to Hakuba. Looking forward to my next visit.

New upgrading has been a superb triumph, the design is spot on , the rooms are big, open with a great bathroom with a proper shower and toilet ,NOT those despicable unit rooms where unless ur a 133cm/ 33 kilo ballerina u cant fit in them and the shower has GREAT water pressure . room has excellent TV, very good extra couch with computer stand, big bench surface for all clothes ,goods, the entrance has good hanging s space for jackets and a bench for pocket nick- nacks with a closet for clothing, theres is ample space for any amount of travel bags carryable,the restaurant is on ground floor with big windows, when it snows its a lovely vista, we had the english breakfast and acai bowl, both were excellent, coffee was fresh, an array of breads and fruits..very good breakkfast, didnt do dinner. Onsen is really well re -done ,super clean, excelent water pressure, cool plunge pool and a sauna along side a big onsen ,right by the entrance to the hotel so u dont need to hump it miles to get to it. bar area is clean with 2 big TVs offerign lots of variety in snacks, foods , drinks with cofotable tabels and bar stools.Over all this hotel has had a huge face lift and its been a massive success, im not ofter positive about hotels but i dotn think its possible not to enjoy evey aspect of this one, ths staff are excelent and english communication is perfect , for the price , its a great place to stay !…

We spent two nights at the Happo on a snowboard trip to Hakuba- and had a great stay. The hotel is centrally located and has just been renovated. The rooms are modern, spacious with comfortable beds , ski/board lockers downstairs with boot heaters and the western style breakfast was awesome. Even an onsen in the hotel . The adjoining bar to the hotel was warm and cosy,had good choice of food and drinks and welcoming staff. Tony behind the bar super friendly and a great host. I would recommend the Happo to anyone heading to Hakuba who wants to stay in a nicer Western Style accommodation.
