Don’t recommend for tourism. Very slow response from hotel regarding booking. Website was showing no rooms available but Booking.com shows rooms available. Outside of town with no other businesses nearby. Narrow beach probably not suitable yet for women in batting suits. Mostly visited by locals. No other tourism options or information is known by the staff or recommendations made, such as diving, snorkeling, or fishing!

The great staff made my staying beautiful from the first step into this hotel. Fresh rose with a card gift, refreshing natural juices and stunning sea view. Buffett dinner delicious. Though I missed to have at breakfast no dairy milk choices, they serve only full fat milk and have no food/drinks options for any food intolerance or restrictions. Room comfortable and I loved the style authentic though modern. Nice gym .

The Waves Hotel is a wonderful place to stay for a few nights. You can’t beat the location - it’s right on the beach. You enter the lobby and you see nothing but beautiful sea views. We received a warm welcome by the staff. Nuof was friendly, she was kind and accommodating. The rooms are luxurious, very clean and comfortable. I would recommend booking a room with a full sea view. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. The views are spectacular and hearing the waves break on shore is so relaxing. We had dinner at the hotel both nights. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. I only hope all of our accommodations will be this lovely on our 10 day Saudi Arabia adventure.

Brilliant hotel with a fabulous welcome and incredibly helpful staff. Great size of room with a sea view. Parking is under canopy next to the entrance. There is a supermarket across the road along with a few places to eat.

Sehr schönes, sehr neues Hotel direkt am Stand. Sehr sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer sehr sauber und modern. Strand sehr schön und sauber. Wasser ein Traum. Kleines Riff ein paar Meter vorgelagert. Super Frühstücksbuffet. Abendessen gut aber ausbaufähig - frischer Fisch hat uns gefehlt - eher Standardkarte. Liegt ausserhalb der Stadt - sehr ruhig. Leider konnten wir aufgrund einer momentanen Regelung nicht zu den Inseln zum schnorcheln hinausfahren. Der Slogan das dort die Malediven von Saudi Arabien sind wird stimmen nur leider durften wir nicht hin was sehr sehr schade war aber das Hotel nichts dafür kann. Soll zukünftig wieder möglich sein - vorher erkundigen
