We had driven to Araku to stay at this resort on 26th Dec all the way from Vizag after flying in from Bangalore on the previous night. They refused the booking saying that they do not accept OYO reservations. As Airtel does not work there ( all of us are on Airtel), I tried calling the customer service number on the receptionist phone (BSNL or Jio works there) but that number was invalid. Therefore, I had to book a room at a different hotel by paying money as we are already very tired after driving 4 hours from Vizag and I was with my wife and daughter and cannot just camp in the wilderness. I reached Bangalore yesterday night by preponing my flights as I had to cut short my trip due to this OYO reservation ( I booked on Booking.com but they source these rooms from OYO) and there are no rooms available for the second night. As I am back on my network with data connection now, I am sending this update. I had two cottages booked but I had to stay in a single room in another shady hotel for the night before I could drive back and return to Bangalore. This is my worst experience on any vacation so far and I want to pull up OYO for deficiency in service and apply caution in booking with them. This is not an isolated incident and I cannot understand why someone does not inform us earlier that the booking is not accepted there while we booked it in a month in advance. On top of it, I get a mail to review the hotel stay!!! …

Bamboo chicken is also available on demand Horrible People!! Went there with 10 bikers and they didnt have water bottles to serve. Didnt have extra blankets. Horrible service. Please dont have any expectation with this resort.
