Wow what an amazing location, we stayed for 2 nights in January and the Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Dave who helped us out with extra ropes and a spare tarp cover after our tent was ripped by a wayward gazebo. The whole experience was so relaxing (minus the ripped tent) our kids loved playing in the river and seeing the local kangaroos every evening was the icing on top of our first camping adventure as a family. Can not wait to go back again
What a stunning place to relax & unwind. The trip in shows wonderful views but be warned it's a pretty steep decent but so worth it. If you want to get away & unwind in a peaceful tranquil setting this is the campground. The facilities are fairly basic but clean. Would just like to see a playground equipment for the kids.
Wow what an awesome camping ground. The biggest swimming hole I have seen was in years which I might say the owners have made easy access for everyone in the park to enjoy. A credit to the owners, clean and well maintained facilities, the grounds are noticeably well taken care of. Areas for your dogs to have a run if you take them. Very quiet over the weekend even though there were many campers there, large sites with plenty of Room between them. We had unpowered site. Staff just so helpful and friendly I felt like a family friend visiting not a paying customer. Would highly recommend. We will certainly be going back and taking the family.
This is a lovely caravan park beside the Macalister River. There are both powered and unpowered grassy sites with plenty of room and a limit on the number of campers accommodated in the park to keep the numbers low. It was very quiet - no cars, no noise - just birds and the river. There is no Telstra reception unless you drive up the hill, and no jumping pillows or playgrounds. Just a beautiful space to explore. The amenities are clean and functional and the friendliness of the proprietors is commendable. We'd recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.
