Stayed in Budapest for 3 night's while on an inter-railing tour of Europe. The hostel was perfect for young people. There were cooking facilities available, good value, staff were friendly, location was central and I loved the night out/bar crawl, it was brilliant crack. Although decor was quite dated and rooms were dark, it didn't bother me.

As a group of girls in our twenties we were looking for somewhere to stay which was fun and where we could meet other people. Do not be put off by the name this hostel is perfect for young travellers. The hostel is located in a large building which requires alot of stairs! Once inside it looks a bit rough, however the rooms are quite clean and there is lockers meaning they are safe!! Having air con was brilliant! we got a perfect nights sleep every night as the owner insures people keep it down after 11! The owner was extremely nice to us as one evening we had not booked to stay in the hostel as we were getting a 5am train, however we then decided very late that we wanted to get a few hours sleep. The owner very kindly offered us a room at half price last minute as we would only be there a few hours.
I would highly recommend this hostel to young travellers who are looking to meet new people!

Do not get confused with the name! Sexy Tractor hostel is located in the upper floor of a beautiful old building almost right in the city centre. Perfect location and in walking distance to all attractions! You can be sure that every evening there's something for you to go or to go out with. Rooms are spacious and clean, very basic though. Perfect fit for a price if you're looking for a cool place to stay and meet fellow backpackers.

I ended up staying here after another hostel lost my reservation. I was a little hesitant at first but it turned out to be a great experience. The staff was really cool and the atmosphere was laid back. The social atmosphere at night with drinking games was great, and the organized bar crawls etc was a lot of fun. Though the roommates I had were great, wish the lockers locked. Good location.

This place is only if you like party hostel, otherwise you will for sure be disappointed. We went out for 4 nights and always had fun at night, where people drinks in the kitchen doing games and leave for a pub crawl (which we did one night and was great).
The place is well located next to the restaurants, bars and attractions (we did everything by walking). The rooms are okay: A/C on but windows open... lockers are huge which is good since some people in this place looks a bit weird (majority are friendly), shower was always dirty and never cleaned.
Staff is working from all over the place, so you got to find them (which is a bit weird at first when you do the check-in!). They often comes in the room in the morning to check for people, which is a bit also strange. The place is at the 4th floors, so you got to walk all the stairs (make sure you aren't too drunk heh!). You also got 2 Wi-Fi, but they aren't that reliable.
