For 600 baht/night you cannot complain too much about the lack of amenities at the Chaleelay Hotel. This is an old and outdated hotel with no elevators. However, the rooms are rather nice with a spacious shower and hot water. My main complaint is the aircon which is difficult to get the temperature right. We had to tape the shutter of the aircon closed because the air was blowing directly over us on our bed which was uncomfortable. However, overall this was a decent experience for the price. The hotel is a 1 minute walk to the beach which was nice as well.
