Petite pension assez improbable à la sortie de la ville direction Est, qui ressemble un peu à un motel avec quatre ou cinq chambres très basiques au rez-de-chaussée. Clientèle de motards. Propre et pratique, mais sans cachet.
I’ve never felt so much not welcome somewhere in Japan. The owner of the guesthouse is someone that does not like people and pretend it’s because his hotel is cheap, but it’s not. Also, it’s really not easy to speak. He mentioned clearly and uncomfortably that Japanese is needed to speak with him. I’ve seen many Japanese people that managed to told that to me with a smile, and we got to understand each other. We made a laundry using the machine and something was still in my pocket. He didn’t hesitate to knock super loudly on the door twice, waking us up to ask something like « why did I do this ». Washing machines don’t broke for this, they are made to resist if some coins are dropped into the rolling part. It’s not relevant to be mean to the customer. Cheap price doesn’t mean you have to be mean to your customer. Also, if you keep an hotel in a touristy place, learn the very basic of English.... I would rather go to the campsite next time. …
