This, by far, was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a hotel/resort. The executive manager, an Egyptian called Farid, was the one who dealt with us directly and he was rude, vulgar, disrespectful both to the Saudi culture and to us female guests. He went as far as telling my friend that he wishes I drown in the sea and die without finding help, just because I complained about the horrendous amount of jellyfish in the beach when he never bothered to warn us before coming. We were in touch with him directly through the phone and that was the least to be mentioned out of integrity, especially that we made it clear that we wanted to swim. He had a condescending attitude towards the country that is employing him and the clients that he is obliged to be courteous to. Is that how you want people to remember your place, Palm Beach?
Apart from this mentally unstable man, the bathroom wasn’t clean; we found no towels, tissues, cups, water or toiletries and it is supposed to be 4 stars! The receptionist wasn’t even addressing me properly as we arrived asking for our room and it felt like we were chasing him from a place to another for an answer. Lastly, the front desk never replies no matter how many times you call and there is no one to help with luggage. I wanted to relax this whole place and absence of service added more stress instead. Do NOT go there no matter what, I would never recommend this horrible experience to anyone. We are waiting for a proper call back from the owner and/or administration and an apology from the executive manager whose position demands much more tact and decency.
