We loved staying at the Malliouhana on Meads Bay -- the beach was lovely and the area had many restaurants walking distance from the resort. The beach staff were fantastic setting up your chairs and umbrellas, bringing bottled water and the occasional smoothie. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Our room overlooked the beach and was spacious with a lovely balcony over the beach. Sunsets were magnificent. We would definitely consider returning to this resort.

We’ve gone to more than 15 islands in the Caribbean over the years and I have to say that Anguilla is the best kept “secret”. The people are terrific and the island is nothing short of remarkable. The beaches, restaurants, the views are only matched by the friendliness of the residents here. It is not commercial and not overdeveloped - just amazing!! Malliouhana is a great property, but the staff is what made it (quite simply) the best experience. The team of people that went out of their way to ensure a fabulous experience is second to none. Anything and everything you can imagine was taken care of. The gentlemen who service the front were outstanding in every way. The hospitality and courtesy with which the entire staff (front desk, wait staff, etc.) conducted themselves was exceptional. I could go on- but this is why we had such a great time. We will definitely come back!…
