Great hotel. Clean, new, and conveniently located. We loved our stay. Everyone at the hotel was very nice. Great pool and outdoor seating. Having the waterfront restaurant next door was a plus so we didn't have to drive to have good drinks and fun. We will be back.
We booked for a last minute 1 night stay while driving down to Key West. The property has been recently renovated and was very nice and clean. We enjoyed having a restaurant right at the property, we ate dinner there and it was good. They provide a bag breakfast, which is better than some I have had during these Covid times. The one improvement I would suggest would be larger bathroom counters......ours was extremely small.
First off, we are Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite members. When we checked in to the hotel they wanted to charge $75 per night for our dog. The app does not mention a fee, just pet friendly. The manager, Michael Webster was in a meeting on a Friday afternoon and not available to speak with me. After waiting 20 minutes to see him, they advised they would only charge $75 for the entire stay. I called corporate and reported this issue. Two days later I receive an email bill showing them charging me $75 for each night. I then asked again to speak with a manager and miraculously they advised me that they were going to waive the fee but again this was after I reached out to them. Very shady and not what I would expect given my previous stays with Marriott as a Gold Elite member. Next, please be aware that the doors to the rooms are very heavy and loudly slam shut. Also, you can hear loud noises coming from inside the walls. Not sure what that is about? The parking lot is narrow and is shared with the patrons of Sparky’s restaurant. For a seemingly next to empty hotel, they clumped people’s rooms all together. They only had microwaved jimmy dean sausage biscuits on Sunday - otherwise, no hot breakfast as advertised. The room did not have a pull out sofa with bed as advertised. The wall AC was either blowing freezing cold air or it was muggy in the room. Finally, we only stayed here because we are Marriott Bonvoy members and had our dog with us.…
Still waiting on amber or Mike to get back to me. Looking forward to writing more reviews,as well as getting ahold of corporate. From room service opening and coming in our room without knocking to no warm or hot water and no TV the whole stay
